Congratulations 2018 Leadership Manhattan graduates

2018’s Leadership Manhattan class and alumni gathered at Manhattan Country Club for awards upon the class’ successful completion of the program. Among festivities at every graduation, the Distinguished Service award recognizes Leadership Manhattan alumni. Manhattan Area Chamber of Commerce established the Distinguished Service award to reward pinnacle community service and high qualities of leadership achievement. 2018 winner Mary Vanier joins the long list of talented members to earn the award.Vanier is the president at Grand Mere Development, where she has served for nearly 20 years.

Leadership Manhattan Class of 2018 concluded its preparation with lessons on civic leadership at Kansas Farm Bureau. The class observed an economic development presentation on local business leadership. Earlier sessions included leadership through local and state government; plus an adaptive leadership section. Congratulations to the entire Leadership Manhattan Class of 2018!
