The 91st Annual Meeting and Banquet of the Manhattan Area Chamber of Commerce was held on Feb. 19 at the Manhattan Conference Center. Our membership came together with nearly 600 guests in attendance for the evening!

Rod Harms received the 2015 C. Clyde Jones Volunteer of the Year award for his outstanding commitment to the Chamber of Commerce and Manhattan community. This award originated in 1990 to express appreciation for the hard work and dedication given by a Chamber of Commerce member.

Lyle Butler, CEO/President of the Manhattan Area Chamber of Commerce, signed the proclamation as KBED President. Kristin Brighton, 2016 Chamber Board Chair, and Karen McCulloh, Mayor of Manhattan, signed the proclamation on behalf of the Chamber and city, respectively. Kirk Schulz, Kansas State University president, was no present at the Annual Meeting, and also signed the proclamation.
