2014 Chamber Leadership In other elections by the Board, Lucy Williams, Vice President/ Trust Officer, The Trust Company, was elected to the position of chair-elect; Frank Beer, Owner, RadioShack, will now serve as immediate past chair; Kristin Brighton, Principal, New Boston Creative Group, was elected treasurer; and Jackie Hartman, Chief of Staff, Kansas State University, and James Gordon, Certified Public Accountant, Sink, Gordon & Associates will serve as vice-chairs to the Board.

During its December board meeting the Manhattan Area Chamber of Commerce board of directors elected Terry Harts, Senior Vice President, Community First National Bank as the 2014 Chair of the Board. During the past three years Terry has been very active in the Chamber serving both as a member on the Board of Directors and the Executive Committee.

2014 Regional Leaders' Retreat

The Junction City, Manhattan, and Wamego Chambers of Commerce will join together again for the annual 2014 Regional Leaders’ Retreat under the theme, Regionalism: The Symphony of the Flint Hills. Courtney Dunbar, ECcD, EDFP, Economic Development Leader, Olsson Associates, will facilitate this year’s event.
