Wildcat Fans, let’s get ready to RUMBLE! It’s Football Season! Put your purple on, grab your favorite Wildcat fan and head down to Purple Power Play in the Park!
It’s the pep rally that local Football fans began celebrating in 1988. In the early years – Purple Power Play was created to welcome students to downtown while creating excitement for the football season. Fast forward to 2014: come be a part of one of the largest events in NE Kansas. Over 20,000 people are estimated to attend Purple Power Play, celebrating with an inflatable carnival, fireworks display, and over 80 vendors. Manhattan welcomes KSU Students, KSU alumni and the entire community to get ready for the season. Be a part of the tradition that only gets better year after year.
