emergency services, education (K-12, and post K-12), quality of life programs, and medical services. • The region and the state have improved access to Fort Riley by making safety and volume improvements to local highways, and by developing a regional transportation system that includes Fort Riley. • The state and the region have protected the future of Fort Riley by putting into place statutes and systems to ensure only compatible use projects are approved near the Fort. • The region has built adequate affordable housing and other facilities and infrastructure to support
