The site, also known as Pig Point, it consists of many sandy areas, drop offs, wrecks and coral reefs to satisfy any person that would want to experience Madang’s seas and its abundent life. Thriving with life, these corals around the Pig Passage hold many garden eels, gobies and Potatoe-like coral structures that sustains a variety of marine life.
Pig Island has a smaller island near by, between these two islands are coral reefs that span far beyond the depths of the passage itself. Wrecks in this particular area have also grown to become parts of the coral. A person diving in this area will be amazed at the amount of creatures that have called this particular passage their home.
