A shallow channel that passes between Sek Island and Wangat Island, this passage consists of a large variety of many different types of sea fans and sponges. This dive site is highly recommended for people looking to experience Madang’s beautiful underwater world. With a slow and steady current, this site is for leisure divers.
Slowly submerging yourself into this particular dive site, a diver may not be surprised to find many different types of migrating fishes. They travel in their schools as these Big Eyed Trevallies, Silver Snappers, Rainbow Runners and Mackerals pass you by in their bright array of colours.

This unique shell was recently discovered off the coast of Sek Island by Marine Scientists. The new species of Cerithiopsidae has been identified as a unique shell in comparison to its relative in Vanuatu, Specula molini.
The shell has a dimension of 1.87x 0.83mm with its convex whorls around the body. Dedicated to Sir Peter Barter for leading the expedition to Sek, this unique shell can only be seen by trained and experienced divers.
