Each month macrobert will screen a family friendly film suitable for those with autism spectrum disorders and/or sensory hypersensitivity. These screenings are open to everyone however, please note:

Thursday mornings are now accessible to the whole family at macrobert. Bring your kids along and enjoy family films on the big screen in a child friendly, relaxed atmosphere with the lights dimmed and the sound at a comfortable level. Screenings start at 10.30am each Thursday and tickets are priced at £1.95 or free to any baby under 12 months.

From the director of Love Actually and Notting Hill, About Time is a tale about a young man who discovers a hereditary family condition that allows him to time travel. As he attempts to create the perfect present for himself by tinkering with the past, he creates chaos leading to a host of unexpected results.

A Bug’s Life focuses on a colony of ants who seasonally gather food for themselves and a wild gang of rowdy grasshoppers. When bumbling worker ant Flik destroys the food supply, the angry grasshoppers threaten to kill the ants if they don’t produce a new supply of food.

There are only a couple of not-so-small problems, Dusty is not exactly built for racing and he also happens to be afraid of heights.
