Join Arch-Surrealist Boothby Graffoe for a typically skewed looked at the weird little world of the UK lottery scratch card. Who buys them? How many do they buy? What, really, are the odds they might win? Have you got one? Do you want one? What would you do with all that money? These questions and several others, utterly unrelated, will be answered. Or will they? Who knows? Question marks are free, shall we keep using them? Will Boothby win during the show? More importantly, will he share any of his winnings with you?

£12 / £10.50 (CONC) / £5.50 (STUDENTS) Award-winning Scottish Borders-based company Firebrand present an exciting new production of David Greig's highly-acclaimed play about loss of innocence. It is summer 1939 and two young Cambridge naturalists arrive on a remote Hebridean island to conduct a wildlife survey on behalf of the government. They are accompanied by Kirk, the island's tenant, and his attractive niece Ellen. When Kirk inadvertently reveals to the boys the true reason for their mission, they are drawn into a primeval world of emotional discovery, sexual passion, voyeurism and murder.

"Comic, touching, powerfully erotic" ★★★★ Daily Telegraph

This powerful and hugely energetic dance theatre production opened to critical acclaim during Edinburgh Festival Fringe 2013 and now comes to macrobert for one night only. The dance marathons of Depression-era America, with strict rules, extreme conditions and ferocious competition, were the reality shows of their day. Attracting huge audiences they could last for weeks on end, with competitors stopping for only ten minutes every two hours to sleep or wash. Ten dancers, two actors and a six-piece jazz ensemble bring this drama to life to a soundtrack of songs from the 1930s, performed by soprano Nadine Livingston. Company Chordelia Artistic Director Kally Lloyd-Jones directs and choreographs and Kennedy Aitchison leads the band.
