Beauty and the Beast macrobert Christmas Appeal

Lead Sponsor:

Christmas is magical for most children, but many families are facing a tough time this year. We know of families who are battling illness, children who are the main carers in their homes and children who cope with the challenges of disability - every day. We know families who have to make difficult choices to make ends meet, particularly at Christmas time. This year macrobert is joining forces with businesses and generous people across the Forth Valley area so that families, who need a break, will be able to enjoy an outing to Beauty and the Beast at macrobert arts centre and have a wonderful time at the Panto! Charities like Strathcarron Hospice, W.I.S.H., and Aberlour Trust will distribute donated and sponsored tickets to the families most in need of a break. For some children, it will be the first time they go to the pantomime with their family. For some it may be the only time. Beauty and the Beast tickets will be spread across several performances so that families can join in unobtrusively. Every child will receive an autographed cast photograph and enjoy a complimentary ice cream at the interval. £30 £60 £120 £300 £600

Her skin blisters and tears and open wounds are painful. She has a condition called Epidermdysis Bullosa (EB). Her Mum says she seldom complains and is ‘always smiling’. *Sam, Sarah and Jessica all came to the Panto last year thanks to the generosity of people like you.

Stirling Credit Union is delighted to be this year’s main sponsor of the macrobert Christmas Appeal. Stirling Credit Union is your local credit union. It covers people who live or work in Stirling District, Clackmannanshire and parts of Lanarkshire and reaches a similar population to that covered by the macrobert Christmas Appeal. An ideal match. The ethos of the credit union movement is to promote the financial wellbeing of its members by offering accessible savings and loan facilities and sharing profits amongst its members. Credit Unions are owned by their members who all have a say in how their credit union is run. They offer a real alternative to high street banks and allow people, who may otherwise be excluded from traditional banks, to save and borrow at reasonable rates. They are also an alternative to payday lenders. For more information about joining Stirling Credit Union take a look at our website: www.stirlingcreditunion.co.uk or e-mail us at info@stirlingcreditunion.co.uk. If you are a local employer and want to consider setting up a pay deduction scheme for your employees to save with Stirling Credit Union, that can be arranged.
