FERIENCAMPS

Mit Stolz blicken wir auf erfolgreiche Summer Camps im diesjährigen schwierigen Sommer zurück. Corona-bedingt wurden die Teilnehmerzahlen limitiert und alle Kinder, Lehr- und Betreuungspersonen bei der Ankunft getestet. Während aus einigen Ländern die Einreise im Juli nicht mehr möglich war, stieg derweil das Interesse aus der Schweiz, den Nachbarländern und dem Tal. Insgesamt durften wir 174 Kinder und Jugendliche im Summer Camp und 65 Kinder im Junior Day Camp an unserer Schule begrüssen.

Eine intensive Vorbereitung, minuziöse Organisation und nichts dem Zufall überlassen waren die Schlüsselwörter der diesjährigen Camps. Die Stimmung unter den Kindern war ausgesprochen gut und der Spass am gemeinsamen Erlebnis war nach der Zeit des Lockdowns deutlich zu spüren.

Wie seit mehreren Jahren sind unsere beliebten Summer & Winter Camps weiterhin eine starke Unterstützung für das Aufnahmeverfahren an unsere Schule. Für die Gemeinschaft des Lyceum Alpinum ist es eine grosse Freude und ein Privileg, in den Camps so viele junge Menschen aus dem Tal und der ganzen Welt willkommen zu heissen und beherbergen zu dürfen.

WINTER CAMP 2021 HOLIDAY CAMPS

It is with pride that we look back on the successful Summer Camps that were held during this year's difficult summer. Due to the COVID pandemic, places were limited and all children, teachers and supervisors were tested on arrival. While travel from some countries had become impossible in July, there was an increase in interest from Switzerland, neighbouring countries and the valley itself. In total, we were able to welcome 174 young people to our Summer Camp and 65 children to the Junior Day Camp.

Intensive preparation and meticulous organization with nothing left to chance became the keywords of this year's camps. The atmosphere among the children was extremely good and the joy of a shared experience after the lockdown was palpable.

As they have done for several years, our popular Summer & Winter Camps continue to strongly support our school admission process. For the community of the Lyceum Alpinum Zuoz, it is always a great pleasure and privilege to welcome and host so many young people from the valley and around the world to the camps.

WINTER CAMP 2021

The Winter Camps 2021 will now take place in February. Participants can choose between English lessons in the morning and skiing or snowboarding in the afternoon or spend the whole day

SUMMER CAMP 2021 – 25 JAHRE SUMMER CAMPS

Nächstes Jahr feiern wir 25 Jahre Summer Camps an unserer Schule! Im Jahr 1997 starteten wir mit einem einzigen Camp mit 33 Teilnehmern. Das Programm beinhaltete Sprachunterricht in Englisch oder Deutsch sowie Sport und Ausflüge. In all den Jahren wuchsen die Camps stetig bis zum heutigen Stand mit mehr als 300 Kindern und Jugendlichen in jedem Sommer und dem zusätzlichen Winterangebot.

Die internationale Atmosphäre, der gegenseitige Respekt, die sportlichen Aktivitäten und Ausflüge in der wunderbaren Engadiner Natur machen unsere Camps zu einem einzigartigen Erlebnis. Jeden Morgen finden Englisch-, Französisch- oder Deutschkurse statt. Am Nachmittag werden Aktivitäten für jeden Geschmack angeboten: Neben dem Multi-Sportprogramm und der Junior Golf Academy auf dem Golfplatz Zuoz-Madulain, wurden in den letzten Jahren die Programme Film Acting, Digital Skills und Fussball hinzugefügt. SUMMER CAMP 2021 – 25 YEARS OF SUMMER CAMPS

Next year, we celebrate 25 years of Summer Camps at our school! We started in 1997 with a single camp of 33 participants. The program included language classes in English or German as well as sports and excursions. Over the years, the camps have grown steadily to the current level, hosting more than 300 young people each summer and there is an additional winter program.

The international atmosphere, mutual respect, sports activities and excursions in the beautiful landscape of the Engadine make our camps a unique experience. English, French or German courses take place every morning. In the afternoon, activities catering to every taste are offered. Besides the MultiSports Program and the Junior Golf Academy on the ZuozMadulain Golf Course, programs focussing on Film Acting, Digital Skills and Football have been added in recent years. Gian Franco Tordi, Alumnus und erfolgreicher Engadiner Schauspieler in Hollywood, führt die Teilnehmer in die Film-Künste ein und Trainer der Fundacion Real Madrid Clinics trainieren täglich die fussballbegeisterten Kinder.

JUNIOR DAY CAMP 2021

Nicht mehr wegzudenken ist auch unser Programm für die kleinen Gäste von 6 – 9 Jahren. Dieses Programm wurde 2017 initiiert und die Kinder können täglich von 08.30 bis 16.00 Uhr – von Montag bis Freitag – vormittags am Englisch- oder Deutschunterricht teilnehmen und am Nachmittag ein Sport- und Kreativitäts-Programm geniessen. Danach kehren die Kinder zu ihren Eltern zurück. Ein Shuttle-Service steht morgens und nachmittags zur Verfügung.

JUNIOR DAY CAMP 2021

We can no longer imagine the summer without our program for little guests from 6 - 9 years. This program began in 2017 and the children participate daily – from Monday to Friday – from 08.30 to 16.00, with English or German lessons in the mornings and a sports and creativity program in the afternoons. Afterwards the children return to their parents. A shuttle service is available in the morning and afternoon.
