LIVE COLORS IN THE WORK OF RAQUELL FERRARI

aquel Ferrari has a degree in economics, but she has always been passionate about arts. She began working with fine arts in 1985 as a hobby. Years later, this hobby became a work and she started to dedicate herself full time to her paintings. To this end, she improved her techniques at the Tomie Ohtake Institute and was a student of the Spaniard Pablo Vasques and of the Argentinian Diego Males. With numerous specializations in the arts, she developed several collections in abstract paintings. She participated in many exhibitions in well-known places in Campinas, such as the Matisse, the Restaurant Daitan and the Casarão from the Horse-riding Society, where she gave part of the sales income of her works to charities.
She tries to translate on canvas the profusion of colors with living traits, creating a balance between the abstract and the figurative. Her main paintings blend different techniques and keep the color alive. That is her trademark. They are pictures that refer to the 1970’s and celebrate the joy of living, with a tropical theme and warm colors, such as red and yellow.
