Improving All The Way

Starting the first half of the girls basketball season out with four wins was a grateful accomplishment With the previous record of 2-14 the girls were proud of their team

With only four seniors and the rest of the team being underclassmen, Kendra Whisenhunt and Jessica V averka (two of the seniors) felt that, " In the coming year these girls will be the team to watch "

Even though there was a wide variety of grade levels some team members felt that they were closer than ever.

Being close and acting as a team is what made their record better from previous years

Another thing was the feeling that other teams had more to prove than them. This was one thing the coach would remind the girls of before games .

With thoughts of knowing that they were as good as ever, and thei r good luck charm of all wearing the same socks, these girls played games with all their heart. And did not give in to their opponents .

Contrary to the scores of games, they proved the skills and ::ibility that they all held.

Though there was a lack of support from the crowd, and many players got a feeling people felt that this girls basketball team was not worth watching , they continued strong, and made a good impression
