Future Business Leaders of America
Travelling to Dallas for the National Fall Leadership Conference was a highlight for L.N.E's Future Business Leaders of America.
Seven members, and one advisor ventured to Texas for 3 days to meet up with over 2,000other FBLA members from across the U.S.
On arrival in Dallas, the Nebraska group went to the Sixth Floor museum, located in the warehouse from which JFK was allegedly shot. The trip was highlighted by a speech from Toody Byrd, a native Texan. The members also attended workshops titled : "How to Work a Room," and "Dressing for Success."

Everyone enjoyed the afternoon out, which was spent shopping, and exploring the historic "West-End."
Ecology Club
This year's Ecology Club had come up with a very unique fund raising idea . Can you imagine pictures of famous people with autographs?
The members wrote to many "stars" requesting autographed pictures to auction off. Denzel Washington is one of the many contributors . The club is planning on a joint auction with another group. It was quite possible the ecology club members raised a considerable amount for their cause
Asian Club
This years Asian club was always singing, dancing and having fun. Their biggest celebration was the observation of Tet, the Lunar New Year. They invited the teachers of Northeast to their celebration where they ate tons of Asian food, danced, and sang Vietnamese Karaoke.
The club also worked on Asian dances for the Bridging the Gap assembly and fair. The club also helped form a support group for the Asian students at Northeast.
