The girls varsity soccer team started off the season with all of the traditional b ruises, and scars, and grass stains The tryouts were sweaty and hard, but if you are dedicated to playiing soccer you w ill get over it and get use to it The team is really young, so it is a change for the JV players from the 1994 seanson The coaches acspectations were more of the girls then They handled it with ease

Northeast had their first invite tournament at Northeast Grand Island and Pius X were on their way to compete The varsity team was ready though , and wa it ing It was a little easier play ing on their own field , but the pressure was also higher because they had to prove themselves The girls won a trophy and were on their way t o a great season
