Pulling Ahead

Cross Country, 'Didn't they do good?' This is what many runners felt like a lot of the student body said.

During the year the teams had a lot of goals to meet. Some people may think that Cross Country is a weak sport. But actually it is one of stronger sports here at Northeast. The team worked hard everyday to meet their goals Sometimes you don't hear al I that much about how well they do, but there are a lot who do well and we plan to see them running in the future .

Cross Country had a lot of good runners . One of the best was A.J Hahn Although he was a good runner, he still had his difficult meets His talents were shining through at the Harold Scott Invite and the City Championship meet. While running , A.J thought about getting done and beating his opponents

" I feel the best at the end of the run."

A.J. also feels running is rewarding, that's why he likes it so much

One thing that kept the team really going and gave them recognition was making state and knowing they had a good chance at winning The boys team took fourth while the girls came in fifth at the state meet .

Hahn was one of them that had the potential to place at the State meet, held in Kearney, and he succeeded by placing 3rd

Hahn proved to all his running abilities and the fact that the more popular sports are not the only ones to go to state
