Nicole Tooker feels as though the team's unity may have been in question. Kristy however, believes everyone got along well and was willing to give it their best
Nicole said; "If we said we we re going to kick butt, we lost Sowe never said t hat." Kristy agreed saying ; " We learned not to th ink we would win , because we would get overl y c onfident and then we always seemed to lose "
Southeast and East were the names that came up most when asked about city-wide rivals " East, They always have been We knew we were better than them , and it makes us mad when they beat us", Kristy admitted Nicole on the other hand said ; "Southeast, We were really close in beat ing them ."
While on the court many different things run through the minds of the athletes, as any athlete knows. Nicole said the thought on her mind most often was; "I wonder how long it will be until Coach Eckman takes me out " Kristy said the thought most familiar to her was ; "Don't get down Keep your head up!"
Both girls have a great interest in volleyball. Kristy said ; "I love playing volleyball My sisters played, so I've been around it forever " Nicole decided however, that she chose volleyball because volleyball is a really fun and challenging sport
