The Reservefootball team started the season off with a 230win against Papillion-Lavista. By this game they thought that they might have a good season. Unfortunatley it didn't turn out this way
The team didn't win any more games but even with an unimpressive record they fought to the end.
When the team was behind they would try not to give up · and fight harder, although it seemed to many no matter how hard they tried they just couldn't get ahead
11 One superstition we had was if the team was big , we were intimidated, 11 said Travis Selzer.
This was a dilema for the team considering that a lot of , other teams had a gain over them in size.
The coaches had a lot of influence over the players. With a new Varsity head coach the other coaches followed with the new rules and ideas, this in hopes that in future years these Reserve players will be on Varsity and ready to be a winning team.
The team had a lot of talent, dispite scores, and when they got together they played even harder than they practiced It was just that their defense couldn't hold the opponents offense or our offense just couldn't get past their defense.
Their last game against Lincoln East was one of the biggest downfalls because they are a city rival and it always hurts to lose to a rival.
