Hot, bright lights , dark shadows, and hundreds of faces staring at them while they clench their teeth and bite their nails, nervously awaiting to perform, for an audie n ce containing lot s of women

This is what our Lincoln Northeast Silhouettes experienced on March 15 , 1995 at Kimball Recital Hall

It was womens week on campus so naturally they named the concert the Wome n 's Festival.

After weeks of long practices and preparation for this concert, the Silhouettes were able to strut their stuff and show off in front of all the other choirs performing at Kimball that night.

The Silhouettes have performed many times thi s year including our so up supper here at Northeast, but this is their biggest event. "We 've spent almost the w hole year preparing for the Women 's Festival,"explained Alisa Wicks .

At the end of the perfor m ance at Kimball all of the choirs came together and sang in perfect harmony I guess practice really does make perfect, especially when it comes to s inging
