Choir's first win!

Sweating, fidgeting, praying they wouldn't forget their lines and mess up .

All of these things were happening back stage at the Lied Center on the night of February 7th , while Concert C h oir members waited for their cue to go onto the stage and sing their hearts out.

Despite the extra rehearsals set up by Concert Choir director, Mary Oestrnan , many members still felt insecure about their parts and many mistakes still needed correcting

Tension was in the air while choir members concentrated on Mary and her directions. The cue finally came and the group went on stage with both fear and hope.

"I just trudged through it. If I wasn ' t sure about what I was singing I just sang softer. The whole time I was up there I was so nervous, all I could think about was how awful we sounded! A couple days later I found out just how great we really did!" Said one choir member
