'Winning Swing

Winning is becoming habit for this year's Varsity Swing Choir.

They have shown that they can perform, entertain and win In two partic ul ar competitons this year, they were up agains t many different schoo ls from surrounding states.

First was the Kansas University Jazz Festival. At this competiton the choir was able to first go to a clinic, and then perform, and recieve a superior rating. When they travelled to Northwest Missouri State, the Swing Choir came back with a trophy that is passed on to each winning choir every year. This means that next years Swing Choir will have to travel back , and sing to keep the trophy . Also, the choir recieved a 1+ rating at th e LPS Jazz Festival.

The Sophomore Select Swing Ch oir has gone to Peru State College, Doane College, Pound Junior High School , and helped perform the National Anthem at Bob Devaney .
