At the start of the school year you probably saw an unfamililiar face in the office Her name is Ms Carmel Sheppard and she is the new Associate Principal. Ms Sheppard came from Junction City, Kansas

The idea for our new mentor program also came with her It started at her old school and when she came here Principal Wilks, assigned her as Directorof Activities She brought up the idea and all the teachers and staff liked it. "It helps a lot with Club Day, now people can be in more then one club because that's how you get involved in school," commented Sheppard. The program is running well and the main complaintfrom the students is the different bell schedules and getting used to them.

Sheppard likes the city and students here "If a graduate doesn ' t end up doing what they wanted to do in high school it's their own fault, because we have a lot of opportunities here," Sheppard said The other new administrator is Dan Larson
