August 13, 2021 LORDCO AUTO PARTS SUPPORTS LANGLEY GOOD TIMES CRUISE-IN
$15,000 Cash Sponsorship Donated to Charity Car Show Benefitting Langley Community Support Groups Society and Valley Therapeutic Equestrian Association
Maple Ridge, BC (August 13, 2021) –Lordco Auto Parts is proud to announce it is once again stepping on board to support the 2021 Langley Good Times Cruise-In, Western Canada's largest charity car show, with a $15,000 cash sponsorship.
"The Langley Good Times Cruise-In is a must-attend event for auto enthusiasts of all ages," says Sarah Durant, Vice President of Marketing at Lordco Auto Parts. "Over 1,300 vehicles from custom cars to motorcycles—were on display in 2019. More importantly, though, the cruise-in is a charity car show, with net proceeds supporting local charities that rely on public donations to stay afloat."
Proceeds from this year's show on Saturday, September 11, 2021, will go to Langley Community Support Groups Society and Valley Therapeutic Equestrian Association. The Langley Community Support Groups Society offers programs in the areas of family counselling, family services, settlement and integration, and substance use services. Valley Therapeutic Equestrian Association helps children and adults of varying abilities achieve independence through therapeutic horseback riding and hippotherapy treatments.
Lordco Auto Parts has been a proud supporter of the cruise-in and its charitable giving focus from the start. After the cars, the aftermarket auto parts retailer and distributor's Garage Giveaway is another show highlight, with the winner of the giveaway receiving everything needed to set up a serious home shop.
Unfortunately, due to the health situation and the short timeline to pull off the event, there will be no Garage Giveaway at this year's event.
"While we are disappointed, we are still doing everything we can to support the Langley Good Times Cruise-In and local charities," says Durant. "We are excited to be a part of this year's Langley Good Times Cruise-In and looking forward to bringing back an even bigger and better giveaway in 2022."
