Unfortunately for many it can become a nightmare of loneliness and stress. To help you avoid the dark side here’s your Christmas List, full of great things to do right here in Blackpool.

To brighten your dark December days, why not get out and do something fun?

Carols, Clubs & Concerts... we have plenty of ideas for you this month.

Christmas is also a time of massive over consumption. I know from personal experience how easy it is to eat and drink too much over the festive season.

And then it takes ages to recover!

When there’s a sunny day, I’ll be on my bike, cycling up the fantastic, finished prom to Fleetwood and admiring our sea defences.

A short lived festive binge can lead to hard to shake off problems in January!

So my Christmas resolution this year is to go easy on the turkey, ration out the roasties and cut down on the chocolate... and to be fit enough to celebrate New Year’s Eve in style.
