Man Cave Social & Environmental Justice Panel Discussion Jonathan Kennedy FACILITATOR Jonathan Kennedy grew up in Pasadena. After graduating college with a degree in criminology, he and his lovely wife Kari moved to the Pacific Northwest, where started his career in law enforcement working for the largest agency in the region.

Juan Cloy MISSISSIPPI HINDS COUNTY CONSTABLE Mr. Cloy is a 26 ½ year veteran Police Officer and Instructor. Ten of those years were served with the FBI, traveling the country working cases. Mr. Cloy’s company trains officers from all over the country on how to have more positive interactions with the citizens that they serve.

Sean Kennedy L.A. SHERIFF’S DEPT. OVERSIGHT COMMITTEE Sean Kennedy leads three live-client clinics focused on fostering systemic reform of the Los Angeles juvenile justice system through ongoing research, discussion and advocacy. He is a member of the Los Angeles county sheriff department civilian oversight committee. Kennedy is also a former federal public defender.

Pastor Tyrone Skinner METROPOLITAN BAPTIST CHURCH Reverend Tyrone Skinner has pastored Metropolitan Baptist Church, Altadena, CA. 31 years. In 2020, he was awarded the Doctor of Ministry Degree from New York Theological Seminary. Pastor Skinner has served as President of the Western Baptist State Convention’s Congress of Christian Education for 15 years.

He has developed strategies and advises brands and communities on innovative ways to educate, engage and activate organizations to solve social issues surrounding Millennials. Brandon is a member of the NAACP Pasadena chapter and an author, having recently released the children’s book “The King In Me”.

Aracely Preciado PASADENA POLICE PATROL OFFICER Born and raised in Pasadena, Aracely is a first generation Mexican American with a BA from Cal Poly Pomona and a MA from Cal State Long Beach. She has been with the Pasadena PD since May 2021. Prior to that she was an officer for Claremont PD. Officer Preciado is a proud product of the Pasadena Police Explorer program.

Jasmin Thomas PASADENA POLICE PATROL OFFICER Jasmin was raised in Pasadena until about middle school then moved with her family to Monrovia. She has worked in Pasadena since age 14 at summer day camps. Jasmin ran track with UC Riverside and graduated with a bachelors degree in political science. Officer Thomas started working for the Pasadena Police Department in 2019 and enjoys every part of it.
