SoCal Women’s Conference 20th Anniversary
On behalf of the State of California, I am pleased to commemorate the SoCal Women’s Conference on 20 years of remarkable service in support of the health and wellbeing of communities across Southern California.
Every year, the SoCal Women’s Conference acts as a beacon of information, innovation, and inspiration for the hundreds of attendees that enter its halls, who in turn help spread knowledge and power across the region. By building partnership between community-based organizations, businesses, and civic leaders, the SoCal Women’s Conference continues to lift up a diverse set of voices that are united in supporting the needs of all Californians. In this mission, I want to especially applaud the work of Lena Kennedy, who two decades ago turned her bold idea into the impactful event we see before us.
