#GivingTreesday Spring Update Total Giving TREESday proceeds: $14,784.00! In December, many responded on #GivingTuesday, so we thought many might enjoy hearing what’s been started now that spring is here. Our groundskeeper, Dan Schultz (‘04), reports that in April, 10 trees were planted either along Woodland Beach Rd. or in front of the school, including (full maturity pic examples in order at bottom): (2) Autumn Blaze Maple (2) Spring Snow Crabapple (non fruit-bearing) (2) Fall Fiesta Maple (1) Norway Spruce (1) Firefall Maple (1) White Spruce (1) Autumn Blaze Pear (no fruit)
Funds raised during Giving Tuesday efforts also provided this year’s mulch for the courtyard and will go toward landscaping outside the atrium, repainting the front school sign and updating the landscaping around it.
