Mint tudjuk, már létezik elektromos Forma-1 is, ez a Forma-E. Sok egykori F-1-es versenyző ebben az osztályban küzd jelenleg. Az autók 3 másodperc alatt gyorsulnak 0-ról 100-ra, végsebességük 220 kilométer per óra körül van. A hangerő kisebb, mint más versenyautók esetében, körülbelül 80 decibel. Versenyszabályok: Reggel szabadedzéssel kezdenek, majd következik az időmérő edzés. Az időmérő edzésen a pilóták 1-1 mért kört tesznek meg. A hat leggyorsabb versenyző viszont egy Super Pole-on vesz részt. A versenyek 45 percesek + 1 körösek. A jelenlegi pontozási rendszer: 1-10. helyezett 25től 1-ig kap pontokat, 3 pontot ér a pole-pozíció és 2 pontot a leggyorsabb kör. Az ezévi versenysorozat 4. állomása Monte-Carlóban volt.
