PINCÉSZET

Pincészetünk Gnojnice bb-ben, egy békés hercegovinai faluban található, mintegy 10 km-re Mosztár városközpontjától. Borászatunk története a hagyományról és a bor iránti szeretetről szól. Az őshonos Žilavka és Blatina fajtákkal betelepített szőlőbirtokunk a Hercegovina Borút részét képezi. Az első bor ezen a területen 1866-ban, az Osztrák-Magyar Monarchia idején készült Gnojnice-ben, s az Imperial Vineyards nevet kapta. A birodalom jeles borászai felismerték a borkultúra fejlődésének ideális természeti előnyeit, kezdve az éghajlattal, a napsütéses napok rekordszámával (éves szinten több mint 300), a földrajzi-karsztos területig, amely könnyen elnyeli a napenergiát. Amikor I. Ferenc József császár tesztelte az ezen a helyen termelt bormintákat, úgy döntött, hogy a bor annyira jó, hogy „kizárólagos használatra” lesz, s a „Fur eigene Bedurfnisee” állandó címke lesz az ezen a makróhelyen termelt borokon. A bécsi udvar igényeire készült Žilavka és Blatina gyorsan a legjobb minősége okán többszörösen díjazott borokká váltak.

WINERY

Our winery is located in Gnojnice bb, a peacefull Herzegovinian village some 10 km away from the Mostar city center. The story about our winery is the story about tradition and love for wine.Our vineyards, planted in autochthonous varietis Žilavka and Blatina and some other varieties, are part of the Herzegovina Wine Route. The first wine station in this area was established in 1866 in Gnojnice during Austro-Hungarian Monarchy and it was named Imperial Vineyards. Eminent enologists of Austrian empire had recognized ideal natural benefits for the development of wine culture starting with climate,a record number of sun shinig days, more that 300 at annual level to geography-karst area which easily absorbs solar energy. When Franz Joseph I had tested the wine samples produced at this location he decided that wine would be“for is exclusive use only“. „Fur eigene Bedurfnisee“become permanent label on wines produced on this macro location .
