A szálláshelynek van egy Ribno Luxury Glamping része is, ahol kompletten felszerelt, infraszaunával és saját fürdőszobával ellátott vörösfenyőből készült faházak várják az utazókat, valamint melegvizes merülő medencék. Homokos partú fürdőtó is szolgálja a pihenést. A luxus glamping a kerékpárosok Mekkája, minden faházhoz saját kerékpár tároló is tartozik.
A szálláshely tulajdonosainak célja, hogy még zöldebbé varázsolják a világunkat, amiben élünk, itt nagyon vigyáznak a környezetre, az ivóvízre, figyelnek a hulladék gazdálkodásra. 2018-ban elnyerte a szálloda a „Nulla hulladék” bizonyítványt, ez az első és egyetlen hotel Szlovéniában, amelynek sikerült ezt az eredményt elérnie.

Az egzotikus távol-keleti utazások ma már közel sem elérhetetlenek, noha ehhez körültekintőnek kell lennünk és az utazást is gondosan meg kell terveznünk. Ha így teszünk, akár százezreket is spórolhatunk.
Érdemes alaposan összevetni az egyes légitársaságok tarifáit és feltételeit, mielőtt megvesszük a repülőjegyet, így nem csak pénzt spórolhatunk, de jó néhány kellemetlenségtől is megóvhatjuk magunkat.
A legjobb megoldás, ha utazási irodában foglaljuk a repülőjegyet, hiszen ebben az esetben egy olyan ügyintézővel tudunk személyesen találkozni, aki felkészülten választ tud adni minden felmerülő kérdésünkre. Az sem utolsó szempont, hogy ha esetleg változna az utazás időpontja vagy valamilyen előre nem várt dolog miatt lenne szükség az utazás elhalasztására vagy lemondására, minden segítséget meg tudnak adni ahhoz, hogy a repülőjegy árát visszakaphassuk. A távol-keleti országokba való beutazás feltételeiről is mindenképpen tájékozódjunk, hová milyen vízum, igazolás szükséges. Általánosságban az a tendencia, hogy egyre több távol-keleti ország tér át az egyszerűsített beutazási feltételek alkalmazására, ami nagy könnyebbség lehet a jövőben az ügyintézést tekintve. Aki a legkedvezőbb repülőjegyet szeretné megvásárolni, érdemes alaposan utánajárni az egyes társaságoknak és annak, hogy milyen átszállásokat tartalmaz a repülőjegy.

Destinations in the Far East are becoming more and more popular among the Hungarian population, and more and more people are even deciding to spend their holidays in an exotic country in Asia. If you're thinking about spending Christmas in this region now, it's probably too late, but there's a good chance you'll still be able to find accommodation and flight tickets for the Chinese Lunar New Year celebrations.
Bangkok, Bali, Hong Kong, Singapore – these destinations are the destinations of more and more Hungarian tourists. Exotic trips to the Far East are almost unattainable today, although we have to be careful and plan the trip carefully. If we do this, we can not only protect ourselves from inconvenience, but we can even save hundreds of thousands.
It is worth carefully comparing the tariffs and conditions of each airline before buying the flight ticket, so that we can not only save money, but also protect ourselves from quite a few inconveniences. BOTANIKAI CSODA A FEJJEL LEFELÉ NÖVŐ FA
A Nápoly közelében fekvő Bacoli több szempontból is érdekes. A település festői helyen fekszik, geológiai szempontból igen izgalmas, és régészeti különlegességgel is bír: itt feküdt egykor Baiae, egy ókori város, amelynek maradványai még ma is megtekinthetők. Ezen a helyszínen, az egyik romnál egy másik nevezetességgel, egy fejjel lefelé növő fügefával is találkozhat az ember.
A szokatlan növekedés látszólag nem jelent akadályt a fa számára, folyamatosan fejlődik, és termést is hoz. A fejjel lefelé növő füge természetesen nem a tengerben, hanem Baiae szárazföldi romjainál tekinthető meg a helyi Mercurius-templommal szemben.
THE TREE GROWING UPSIDE DOWN IS A BOTANICAL WONDER
Bacoli, located near Naples, is interesting from several points of view. MAGYAR SÉFÉRT RAJONG WASHINGTON
Tokió, Helsinki és Brüsszel után 2021 óta a washingtoni magyar nagykövetségen dolgozik Szabó Balázs, akinek a fogásaiért megőrülnek az amerikaiak. A séf pörkölttel és házi készítésű nokedlivel nyűgözte le az amerikai gasztro-sajtót, de a lángos is nagy sikert aratott. A magyar embereknek talán mindennapinak tűnhet ez az egyszerű egytálétel, de Washingtonban mégis nosztalgikus hangulata van, különlegesnek számít, s sokan szeretik.
Az NBC washingtoni kiadásában foglalkozott a magyar séffel, ahol a legtrendibb menüket és fogásokat sorolták fel. A séf szaktudására a Darcy Hotel is felfigyelt, ami után egy együttműködést is kezdeményeztek a követség konyhájával.

A Darcy Hotelben működő Gerrard Street Kitchen vezető szakácsa, Chef Ali gondoskodott arról, hogy Balázs instrukciói az ételek elkészítésével kapcsolatban maradéktalanul megvalósuljanak, több magyar fogás is van ugyanis az étlapon.
WASHINGTON IS A FAN OF THE HUNGARIAN CHEF
After Tokyo, Helsinki and Brussels, Balázs Szabó has been working at the Hungarian Embassy in Washington since 2021, and Americans go crazy for his tricks. The chef impressed the American gastro press with his stew and homemade nokedli, but the flambé was also a great success. This simple one-dish dish may seem everyday to Hungarian people, but in Washington, it still has a nostalgic feel, is considered special, and is loved by many.
In the Washington edition of NBC, he dealt with the Hungarian chef, where the trendiest menus and dishes were listed. The chef's expertise was also noticed by the Darcy Hotel, after which they initiated a collaboration with the embassy's kitchen.
Chef Ali, the head chef of the Gerrard Street Kitchen operating in the Darcy Hotel, ensured that Balázs's instructions regarding the preparation of the dishes were fully implemented, as there are several Hungarian dishes on the menu.

STRANGE ANIMAL BEHAVIORS

Igencsak bevállalós ruhában (vagy ruha hiányában) jelent meg a Sports Illustrated magazin Hollywoodban tartott 2024 évi partiján a golfozó influenszer Paige Spiranac: gyakorlatilag semmi teret nem hagyott a fantáziának a szettje, ezzel az erővel akár anyaszült meztelenül is beállíthatott volna, akkor sem keltett volna kisebb feltűnést. Mondanunk sem kell, a 31 éves sportoló láttán sokak álla leesett, s garantáltan „belepirult” jó pár kamera is. Spiranac kisasszony Insta-oldalán osztotta meg az alig ruhát több, szintén izgalmas szögből. A lapozgatós poszt többi képén pedig szemügyre lehet venni a korábbi Sports Illustrated-partikra választott, hasonlóképp "kitárulkozó" ruháit, amelyeket most mi is bemutatunk lapunkban.

The golfing influencer Paige Spiranac appeared at the 2024 year’s Sports Illustrated's party in Hollywood in a very revealing dress (or no dress at all): her set left virtually no room for imagination, with this power she could have posed naked even if she had just given birth, and even then she would not have caused any less of a stir. Needless to say, many people's jaws dropped when they saw the 31-year-old athlete, and quite a few cameras were guaranteed to blush.

Paige Spiranac born March 26, 1993) is an American social media personality, golf instructor, and former professional golfer. Spiranac debuted on the developmental Cactus Tour at the Las Colinas Club in Queen Creek, Arizona, in May 2016. A win over Hannah O’Sullivan, the then top-ranked amateur in the world, earned Spiranac her only tour victory.In June 2016, Spiranac finished 17th out of 52 golfers at the Aliante Golf Club. In July, she finished in seventh place at Walnut Creek in Mansfield, Texas. Also in July, she made the cut at the Scottish Open in the Ladies' European Tour.

Santo da Serra Golf Club overlooks Machico Bay, where Portuguese navigators first landed on the island of Madeira. The original course, built in 1937, was remodeled in 1991 by the famous golf architect Robert Trent Jones Sr., who created a completely new and spectacular 27-hole golf course in one of the most beautiful natural settings on the island. A 9-hole game costs 85 euros at this club, the golf cart rental is another 45 euros, and they charge 50 euros for the clubs.
The golf course, built only a few hundred meters above sea level, is often windy, and the weather here is different from that on the coast.

The driving range, i.e. the practice course, is well equipped, including two putting greens, a chipping green, and a bunker. Krisztus király szobra egy magas sziklán, mintegy 15 méter magasan emelkedik a tenger fölé, hogy megvédje a madeirai halászokat. Éjszaka kivilágítják, hogy jelzőfényként szolgáljon.
Az 1927-ben Art Deco stílusban épült szobor nem különbözik a Rio de Janeiroban vagy Lisszabonban található híresebb szobroktól. A szobor a Funchal és Caniço közötti kis Garajau kerületben áll, és innen véget nem érő kilátás nyílik a vad sziklákra és Funchal beépített területére.
A szobrot legjobban akkor lehet lefényképezni, ha a turista vállalja, s lemegy közel 300 lépcsőn a szikla peremére. Innen persze viszsza is kell menni, ami nem könnyű, mert nagyon meredek lépcsősorról van szó. Útközben szerencsére épültek pihenők, ahol meg lehet állni pár percre.
A parkolóból (ingyenes) egy kilátó és egy rövid sétaút vezet fel. A Teleférico do Garajau rövid és nagyon meredek drótkötélpálya is vezet le a sziklaperemről egy szép kavicsos strandra, ahol egy előkelőbb romantikus étterem található. A strand autóval is megközelíthető egy újonnan épített kanyargós úton.
A drótkötélpályás utazás 5 euróba kerül (menettérti jegy) és 10-18 óráig közlekedik.

The statue of Christ the King rises on a high rock, about 15 meters above the sea, to protect the fishermen of Madeira. It is illuminated at night to serve as a beacon.
Built in 1927 in the Art Deco style, the statue is no different from the more famous statues in Rio de Janeiro or Lisbon. The statue stands in the small district of Garajau between Funchal and Caniço and offers endless views of the wild cliffs and the built-up area of Funchal.
The best way to photograph the statue is if the tourist undertakes it and goes down nearly 300 steps to the edge of the rock. Of course, you have to go back from here, which is not easy, because it is a very steep flight of stairs. Fortunately, there are rest stops along the way where you can stop for a few minutes.
A lookout point and a short walking path lead up from the parking lot (free of charge). The Teleférico do Garajau also takes you down a short and very steep cable car from the edge of the cliff to a nice pebble beach with a more upscale romantic restaurant. The beach can also be reached by car on a newly built winding road. The cable car ride costs 5 euros (return ticket) and runs from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Santana egy 5000 lakosú kisváros Madeira szigetének északi partvidékén; az azonos nevű járás székhelye. Délkelet felé Faiallal és nyugatnak a sziget északi partján végig futó, ER 101 jelzésű út köti össze. Innen indul a délnyugat–nyugat felé, az Achada do Teixeira kilátópontig (1592 m) kiépített, ER 218 jelzésű út. A kilátópontról mintegy órás, nem túl megerőltető sétával elérhető a sziget legmagasabb hegycsúcsa, a Pico Ruivo (1862 m).
Santanát sajátos, tarka színekre festett és leginkább csőszkunyhóra emlékeztető, hegyes szögű, egyenlő szárú háromszög metszetű nádfedeles faházai teszik az északi part legismertebb településévé. Ezekből az egykori nagy szegénységről tanúskodó épületekből mintegy száz maradt fenn, főleg a városka peremén. Valamennyit műemlékké nyilvánították; a legtöbben már nem lakik senki.
Amelyikben viszont lakik egy-egy idősebb hölgy vagy úr, az nagy pénzt csinálhat azzal, hogy megmutatja a turistáknak az otthonát. A becsületkasszába ugyanis minden látogató bedob legalább 2 eurót, s ezért a háziak kedvenc likőrjét meg is kóstolhatják - 1 vagy 2 centes, gyűszűnyi pohárkákból. Mivel ömlik a turista Santanába, így sok a látogató, s nagy a bevételük az élelmes öregeknek.
A város központjában, a templom mellett kialakított ki skanzenben újjáépítettek három ilyen házacskát, és ezekben eredeti berendezési tárgyakkal mutatják be az egykor ilyen házakban élt földművesek életét.
Ugyanezt a célt szolgálja a tematikus park, amihez a templomtól induló, táblával jelzett úton juthatunk el. A parkban négy pavilonban (amelyek közül egyet célzottan a gyerekeknek rendeztek be) mutatják be Madeira történelmét és kultúráját. A hét hektáros telken látható egy malom, egy útvesztő és egy tó is.
A sziget egyik hagyományos ünnepe a minden júliusban megtartott 24 Horas de Bailar folklór feszivál tánccsoportokkal és zenészbandákkal, a környékbeli falvak információs pultjaival és házi különlegességek vásárával.
Santana is a small town of 5,000 inhabitants on the northern coast of the island of Madeira; the seat of the district of the same name. It is connected to the south-east by Faial and to the west by the ER 101 road running along the north coast of the island. From here, the ER 218 marked road starts southwest to the Achada do Teixeira viewpoint (1592 m). The island's highest peak, Pico Ruivo (1862 m), can be reached with a not too strenuous walk of about an hour from the lookout point.
Santana is the best-known settlement on the northern coast with its unique, colorfully painted and thatched wooden houses with sharp angles and an isosceles triangle section, most reminiscent of pipe huts. About a hundred of these buildings, which bear witness to the great poverty of the past, have survived, mainly on the edge of the town. All have been declared monuments; most of them are no longer inhabited.
However, if an older lady or gentleman lives in it, they can make a lot of money by showing their home to tourists. Every visitor puts at least 2 euros into the honor fund, so they can taste the family's favorite liquor - from 1 or 2-cent, thimble-sized glasses. Since tourists flock to Santana, there are a lot of visitors and a lot of income for the old people with food.
In the open-air museum created in the center of the city, next to the church, three such houses have been reconstructed, and in them the life of the farmers who once lived in such houses is presented with original furnishings.
The same purpose is served by the theme park, which can be reached by a signposted road starting from the church. In the park, the history and culture of Madeira are presented in four pavilions (one of which was designed specifically for children). The seven-hectare plot includes a mill, a maze and a lake.
One of the island's traditional celebrations is the 24 Horas de Bailar folkloric festival held every July with dance groups and bands, information desks from the surrounding villages and a market of homemade specialties.

TA Szent Lőrinc-félsziget Madeira mintegy 8 km hosszan a tengerbe nyúló keleti földnyelve.
Az öböl fölötti parkolóból szép kilátás nyílik a Kopár-szigetekre, nyugat felé pedig a Porto da Cruz és Faial közötti Sasok sziklájára. Utolsó, csaknem két kilométeres szakaszát egy pár méter széles csatorna választja el a félsziget nagyobbik részétől, úgyhogy ez voltaképpen önálló sziget (Ilhéu de Agostinho). Ennek folytatásában még egy szigetecske, a Világítótorony-sziget emelkedik a víz fölé, rajta a Szent Lőrinc világítótoronnyal. Ez Madeira legrégibb világítótornya: 1870 óta küldözgeti jeleit az éjszakába.
A félsziget északi partja mentén több tucatnyi további, ugyancsak kopár szirt, illetve szigetecske emelkedik a víz színe fölé. A nagyobbaknak neve is van; kelet felé haladva: Ilheu de Garajós, Calhau dos Barreiros, Baixas do Guincho, Pedra Furada, Ilhéu do Guincho, Estreito, Ilhéu do Agostinho.
A fenti sajátosságok okán a félsziget két partja igencsak különbözik: a meredeken a tengerbe szakadó, szirtekkel körített északi partot kimondottan nehéz a tenger felől megközelíteni, a jóval lankásabb déli parton viszont több alkalmas kikötőhely is akad. Amikor a szigetet betelepítő portugálok az 1420-as évek elején Madeira erdeinek nagy részét felégették, a tűz a Szent Lőrinc-félszigetre nem terjedt át; itt épen megmaradt a babérlombú erdő úgynevezett cserje formációja, a sárkányvérfa erdő.
A fákat azonban hamarosan elkezdték kitermelni, és a védtelenül maradt, vékony talajtakarót a csapadék gyorsan a tengerbe mosta. A kopár sziklák között csak gyér lágyszárú növényzet maradt fenn, mindazonáltal az eredeti sárkányfaerdő gyepszintjének néhány, bennszülött faja itt vészelte át a sziget betelepítését.
A félszigeten számos ritka madárfaj fészkel, és időnként még a Földközi-tengeri barátfókák is kimásznak partjaira. 1982-ben a félszigetet a sajátos flóra, fauna és a földtani értékek védelmére természetvédelmi területté nyilvánították, bízva az eredeti növénytakaró lassú regenerálódásában.
A félsziget remek kirándulóhely, bár sokszor erős a szél ezen a vidéken. A szélben a vízfelszínnel egy ritmusban hullámzó, tücsökzenétől hangos rétek között indulhat a séta, néhány száz méter után pedig kinyílik a táj.

The steep walls plunge into the sea at a wild angle
The St. Lawrence peninsula is the eastern headland of the island of Madeira that extends into the sea for about 8 km.
From the parking lot above the bay you have a nice view of the Barren Islands, and to the west of the Eagles Rock between Porto da Cruz and Faial. Its last section, almost two kilometers long, is separated from the larger part of the peninsula by a channel a few meters wide, so that it is actually an independent island (Ilhéu de Agostinho). In continuation of this, another small island, the Lighthouse Island, rises above the water, with the St. Lőrinc lighthouse on it. This is Madeira's oldest lighthouse: it has been sending its signals into the night since 1870.
Along the northern coast of the peninsula, dozens of other barren cliffs and islets rise above the surface of the water. The bigger ones also have names; going east: Ilheu de Garajós, Calhau dos Barreiros, Baixas do Guincho, Pedra Furada, Ilhéu do Guincho, Estreito, Ilhéu do Agostinho.
Due to the above characteristics, the two coasts of the peninsula are quite different: the northern coast, which juts steeply into the sea and is surrounded by cliffs, is particularly difficult to access from the sea, while the much more gentle southern coast has several suitable moorings.
When the Portuguese who settled the island burned most of Madeira's forests in the early 1420s, the fire did not spread to the St. Lawrence Peninsula; the so-called shrub formation of the laurel forest, the dragon's bloodwood forest, has been preserved here. However, the trees soon began to be harvested, and the thin soil cover left unprotected was quickly washed into the sea by the rainfall. Among the barren rocks, only sparse herbaceous vegetation survived, however, some of the native species of the original dragonwood forest's lawn level survived the colonization of the island here.
Many rare species of birds nest on the peninsula, and occasionally even the friendly seals of the Mediterranean come to its shores.
In 1982, the peninsula was declared a nature conservation area to protect the specific flora, fauna and geological values, relying on the slow regeneration of the original plant cover.
The peninsula is a great place for hiking, although the wind is often strong in this region. You can start your walk through the meadows, which are undulating in rhythm with the water surface in the wind and loud with the music of crickets, and after a few hundred meters the landscape opens up.

HAz osztrák fővárosban, a Tenger Házában az egész világból származó édesvízi és tengeri halakat tekinthetjük meg. Ezen kívül a Madagaszkár rész, a Krokipark, s még több látnivaló biztosítja az állati jó élményeket.
A földszinten végig haladhatunk a tíz méter hosszú Atlanti alagúton: ez egy cső, amely egy 500 000 literes medencén vezet végig, amelyben az Atlanti-óceán halvilága csodálható meg – a korallsügérektől és a sasrájáktól a dajkacápákig.
A pörölycápák 150 000 literes tartálya a toronyépület 10. emeletén található, és a Tenger Házának fénypontja. Több mint 1000 hal – szirticápa, rája, doktorhal, korallsügér, tisztogató ajakoshal – található a 7. emeleten, a 360° cápamedencében. Ez a 120 m² felületével a legnagyobb medence a Tenger Házában és körbejárható. Olyan betekintést nyújt, mint egy merülés során.
A 2020-ben befejezett óriási épületrész négy bolyhos katta és két maki új otthona. Az úgynevezett Madagaszkár rész, amelynek van egy belső és egy külső kifutója, egy vékonycsíkos mongúznak valamint egy óriásteknősnek, és három komodói varánusznak ad otthont.
A Trópusi házban, valamint a Krokiparkban – mindkettő látványos, 20 méter magas üveg tetőszerkezetű építmény – szabadon röpködnek a madarak, szabadon futkosnak a majmocskák. A terrárium részlegben mérges, valamint óriáskígyók, gyíkok, levélvágó hangyák és madárpókok csodálhatók meg. Egy mesterséges cseppkőbarlangban több mint 100 éjszakai állatot és barlanglakót figyelhetünk meg: mérges óriás ezerlábúakat, ostorlábúakat, harci tücsköket, szem nélküli barlangi halakat, és az UV-fényben kísértetiesen világító skorpiókat.
2022 márciusában a kilencedik emeleten megnyílt az Ausztrál élményvilág: egy 70 méter hosszú, rikítóan színes körsétány, tele papagájokkal.

In the Austrian capital, the House of the Sea, you can see freshwater and marine fish from all over the world. In addition, the Madagascar section, Krokipark and many more attractions ensure good animal experiences.
On the ground floor, you can walk along the ten-meter-long Atlantic Tunnel: a tube that leads through a 500 000-liter pool in which you can admire the fish life of the Atlantic Ocean - from coral groupers and eagle rays to nurse sharks.
The 150 000-liter tank for hammerhead sharks is located on the 10th floor of the tower building and is the highlight of the House of the Sea. More than 1000 fish - thresher shark, stingray, doctor fish, coral grouper, cleaner lip... - can be found on the 7th floor, in the 360° shark pool. With a surface area of 120 m², this is the largest pool in the House of the Sea and can be walked around. It gives you an insight like a dive.
The giant part of the building, completed in 2020, is the new home of four fluffy cats and two ring-tailed lemurs. The so-called Madagascar section, which has an inner and an outer enclosure, is home to a thin-striped mongoose and a giant tortoise, and three Komodo dragons.
Birds fly freely and monkeys run freely in the Tropical House and in the Krokipark - both spectacular structures with a 20-meter-high glass roof structure. In the terrarium section, you can admire venomous snakes, giant snakes, lizards, leaf-cutter ants and bird spiders. In an artificial cave grotto, we can observe more than 100 nocturnal animals and cave dwellers: venomous giant millipedes, whippets, fighting crickets, eyeless cave fish, and scorpions that glow eerily in UV light.
In March 2022, the Australian Experience World opened on the 9th floor: a 70-meter-long, flamboyantly colorful promenade full of parrots.

Alsó-Ausztria délnyugati csücskében, a Mostviertel régióban, a télen-nyáron népszerű Hochkar tövében, a Mendling-patak völgyében található Közép-Európa egyetlen, máig működőképes faúsztató létesítménye. Ez így nem hangzik túl izgalmasan, azonban a németül élményvilágnak hívott szurdok (Erlebniswelt Mendlingtal) kétségtelenül rászolgál hangzatos nevére. Amellett, hogy megismerkedhetünk az egykori rönkúsztatók, famunkások szikár életével, munkájával, a sziklafalakra rögzített fajárdákkal, hidakkal kiépített látványos útvonalon járhatjuk végig a romantikus szurdokot.
Látvány faúsztatás minden hónap első vasárnapján és harmadik szombatján van. Különleges megtapasztalni a speciális technikát, amelynek segítségével a hatalmas farönköket az erdő mélyéről a patak vizének erejét felhasználva eljuttatták a feldolgozó állomásig. Itt olyat is láthat a turista, amit máshol nem biztos: malomkerekeket és gátakat, duzzasztókat és mesterséges zsilipeket. A szemünk előtt elevenedik meg a múlt öröksége a sokszor mesebeli tájon.
A túra hossza: 3,3 km, egy irányban. Szintkülönbség: 170 méter. Kiindulópont: Lassing, a Hochkarra vezető alpesi út kezdeténék fekvő kis falu déli szélén az út jobb oldalán lévő parkoló. Innen 800 méterre található a pénztár, az út erősen lejt, sok a lépcső. Lefelé nem gond megtenni, de visszafelé nehéz, főleg az idősebbeknek.
Érkezési pont: Herrenhaus vendéglő, a Mendlingtal északi végében. Itt is, az út szélén találunk egy kisebb parkolót. Természetesen innen is indulhatunk. Visszafelé ugyanazon az úton mehetünk vissza a kiindulási pontra, a völgyön keresztül.

Located in the southwestern tip of Lower Austria, in the Mostviertel region, at the foot of the Hochkar, which is popular in Winter and Summer, in the valley of the Mendling Stream, it is the only log floating facility in Central Europe that is still operational. That doesn't sound very exciting, but the gorge, called the world of experience (Erlebniswelt Mendlingtal) in German, undoubtedly lives up to its sonorous name. In addition to getting to know the lean life and work of the former log movers and woodworkers, we can walk through the romantic gorge along a spectacular route built with wooden walkways and bridges attached to the rock walls. Spectacular log float is on the first Sunday and third Saturday of every month. It is special to experience the special technique that was used to transport the huge logs from the depths of the forest to the processing station using the power of the water of the stream. Here, the tourist can also see things that cannot be seen elsewhere: mill wheels and dams, weirs and artificial sluices. The heritage of the past comes to life before our eyes in the often fairytale landscape.
The length of the tour: 3.3 km, one way. Difference in level: 170 meters. Starting point: Lassing, the parking lot on the right side of the road on the southern edge of the small village at the beginning of the alpine road to Hochkar. The ticket office is located 800 meters from here, the road is steep and there are many stairs. Going down is easy, but going back is difficult, especially for older people.
Arrival point: Herrenhaus restaurant, at the northern end of Mendlingtal. Here too, on the side of the road, we find a small parking lot. Of course, we can also start from here. On the way back, we can take the same road back to the starting point, through the valley.

Az Arno partján álló Uffizi-palotát Giorgio Vasari tervezte, aki nemcsak Cosimo nagyherceg udvari építésze volt, hanem korának legkiválóbb művészeinek életrajzírója is. The Uffizi Gallery, together with the Vatican Museum, is the most visited museum in the world. According to our experience, most people are able to enjoy the visual experience of viewing the fine art works and masterpieces in the Uffizi gallery for about 2-3 hours. After all this time, most of us are saturated with what we have seen, and one cannot process or take in more of the experience provided by the Uffizi gallery at the same time. The Uffizi Palace on the banks of the Arno was designed by Giorgio Vasari, who was not only the court architect of Grand Duke Cosimo, but also the biographer of the finest artists of his time. The Uffizi Palace was built between 1560-80. The word Uffizi means "offices": the lower level was originally occupied by government and administrative offices, and the art collection was located on the upper floors. According to Florentine Neoplatonism, beauty is born from the union of spirit and matter, idea and nature, Botticelli translated this in a very sophisticated and sensual way into the language of painting, and this could be the message of the birth of Venus.
The Spring is undoubtedly one of the most famous works of the Italian Renaissance. The harmony, elegance and beauty emanating from the picture make it a true masterpiece. Several different interpretations are possible, and it is not clear exactly what occasion it was made for; some explain it as an allegory of the love of Giuliano de Medici and Simonetta Vespucci, others

In the 28th room, Titian's works were exhibited, among which we highlight the Venus of Urbino. a painting painted in 1538 by Tiziano Vecellio, Duke of Urbino, in Venice.
After the halls, our path leads through the corridor of Roman and Greek sculptures, the sculptures collected by the Medici family over time are exhibited here. A világ leghosszabb gyalogos függőhídját adták át Portugáliában, az első kalandvágyó vendég csütörtökön tehette próbára bátorságát a szerkezeten. Az Arouca város közelében lévő, 516 méter hosszú és ezért az Arouca 516 névre keresztelt híd az Aguieiras vízesést és a Paiva-szurdokot köti össze.
A híd már 2022 júliusban elkészült, megépítése 2,3 millió euróba (közeel 900 millió forintba) került és három évig tartott.
Az eddigi csúcstartó a 494 méteres svájci Charles Kuonen volt. Egyelőre csak a helyiek látogathatják, de hétfőtől bárki foglalhat már jegyet a hídra.
A tibeti stílusú függőhidat két V-alakú toronyból induló vaskábelek tartják. A Paiva folyó 176 méterrel a híd 90 centiméter széles, nyitott fémrácsa alatt folyik. A korlátot merev hálószerkezet alkotja, a padlózat 127 darab négyméteres modulból áll.
The world’s longest pedestrian suspension bridge was handed over in Portugal, and the first adventurous guest was able to test his courage on the structure on Thursday. The 516-meter-long bridge near the town of Arouca, and is therefore called Arouca 516, connects Aguieiras Falls and the Paiva Gorge.
The bridge was completed in July last year, costing 2.3 million euros (around 900 million HUF) and lasting three years. The top holder so far was the 494-meter Swiss Kuonen. For now, only locals can visit, but from Monday anyone can book a ticket to the bridge.

K atla I ce C ave Tour in Iceland Katla jégbarlangtúra Izlandon
2024 áprilisában Izlandon jártunk a Jet Set magazin munkatársaiként. Olyan élményt kerestünk, amely a tipikus turista programokon túlmutat. Ezért választottuk a Katla jégbarlangtúrát Vikben, Dél-Izlandon.
Filmszerű tájakra és olyan látványra készültünk, amelytől leesik az állunk. A terv az volt, hogy átkelünk a Myrdalsjokull gleccseren, majd felfedezzük a Katla-hegyen található Kötlujökull gleccser csodálatos kék-fekete jégbarlangját.
A napunk Vikben, a Katlatrack állomáshelyén kezdődött. Innen a kis csoportunk bemászott a hatalmas, s igen magas szuper dzsipbe, és elindult a magasba a hegyek irányába, hogy izgalmas utazást tegyen a gleccser felé. Útközben megcsodálhattuk a jellegzetes havas vulkánkúpokat és láttunk sok más jeges látványosságot.
Jet Set magazine staff visited Iceland in 2024 April. We were looking for something off the typical tourist track. This is why we bought tickets for Katla ice cave tour in Vik, located South Iceland.
We prepared for movie-like landscapes and jaw-dropping sights like nothing we have ever done before. The plan was to hike across the Myrdalsjokull glacier, then visit the amazing blue and black ice cave of the Kötlujökull glacier on Mt. Katla.
Our day began at the Katlatrack meeting point in Vik.
From here, our small group climbed into the super jeep and head high up into the mountains for an exhilarating ride towards the glacier. Along the way, we got to admire the distinctive mountains and many other spectacular sights, tones, and textures as we made our way through the ice formations.
The first stop was at the front of Kötlujökull – the Katla outlet glacier. Kötlujökull is actually part of the famous Mýrdalsjökull
A jégképződmények között haladva furcsa textúrát tapasztalhattunk, valamint érdekes hangokat hallottunk a jég világából. Az első megálló a Kötlujökull – a Katla kivezető gleccser – elején volt. A Kötlujökull valójában a híres Mýrdalsjökull gleccser része – Izland negyedik legnagyobb jégfolyója. Mivel a biztonság volt mindenkor a legfontosabb a Katlatrack túrán, így gleccservezetőnk adott nekünk néhány kölcsönfelszerelést (sisakot, fejlámpát és csúszásgátló jégkarmokat a hócsizmáink talpára), valamint teljes körű biztonsági eligazítást is tartott. Innen 20-25 perces gyalogtúrára indultunk felfelé a vulkán jegén, hogy felfedezzük célként kitűzött természetes jégbarlangot! Erős szél fújt, nagyon hideg volt a hőmérséklet, úgy éreztük magunkat, mintha egy Everest-expedíción lennénk, és nagyon büszkék voltunk magunkra, hogy bírtuk a tempót, s jó ütemben haladtunk felfelé, hatalmas gleccser szakadékokon és hasadékokon átívelő deszkákon, s fém létrákon átkelve. Nagyon élveztük a csodálatos hideg színeket és a máshol még soha nem látott textúrákat a jégbarlang belsejében, az őrült formák és a kristályjég valóságos ámulatba ejtett bennünket. Katlatrack vezetőnk a helyszínen megosztotta velünk az izlandi jégbarlang történetét, és elmagyarázta, hogyan keletkezett. Megtudhattuk, hogy a Katla vulkán vulkánkitörései hatására a hamu és a homok a
jéggel egyesült, és a fekete és a kék hihetetlen árnyalatait alkották, amelyek szinte „sárkányüvegnek”, azaz obszidiánnak tűnnek. Rengeteg lehetőségünk volt a jégbarlang fotózására és sok időt kaptunk kérdések feltevésére, hogy mindent megtudjunk a jég varászlatos világáról.
A barlangban és környékén eltöltött idő után újabb rövid gyalogtúrát tettünk a gleccseren, miközben titkos, rejtett, s veszélyes glecscser kanyonokra vadásztunk. Mondták a túránk előtt, hogy a jégbarlang látogatása „egyszer az életben élmény” – s ez igaznak is bizonyult. Izland jégbarlangjai folyamatosan változnak az évszakokkal, így a 2024 áprilisi gleccsertúránk során megismert barlangok soha többé nem léteznek majd ugyanabban a formában. Az idegenvezetők mindig új, rejtett barlangok után kutakodnak, így pontosan tudják, hol találják meg a leglátványosabb (és legbiztonságosabb) jégbarlangokat, hogy bemutassák a vállalkozó kedvű turistáknak. Néhány ilyen barlang egyébként magánterületen található, ahová csak Katlatrack vezetővel lehet bejutni.
A jégbarlangászat után visszamentünk a szuper dzsiphez, s hazafelé hajtva végig jártuk néhány hollywoodi film látványos forgatási helyszínét, amely jobban hasonlított a Holdhoz, minta Földhöz. Miközben teljes sebességgel zötykölődtünk le és fel a vulkán lejtőin a vezetőnk a James Bond filmek ikonikus, mindenki által ismert zenéit játszotta le extra hangerővel a dzsip CD-jén. Nagyon izgalmas volt. A Katla jégbarlang túra 3 órán át tartott, imádtuk, és biztosan nem felejtjük el soha!

As safety was paramount at all times on a Katlatrack tour, so our glacier guide fitted us up with some loan equipment (a helmet, headlamp, and crampons) and provide us with a full safety briefing. From here, we started a 20-25 minutes glacier hike across the ice to explore the natural ice cave!
The wind was strong, the temperature was very cold, we felt us like be on a Mt.Everest expedition and we were very proud to be able to do the tour
We enjoyed very much the magnificent colours and textures inside the ice cave, and the crazy shapes and crystal ice left us in awe. Our Katlatrack guide shared the history of the Iceland ice cave and explain how it was formed. We learned how the volcanic eruptions of the Katla volcano caused the ash and sand to combine with the ice, to form the incredible shades of black and blue that appear almost like ‘dragon glass’.
There were plenty of ice cave photo opportunities, and plenty of time to ask questions and learn all we wish to know about these magnificent icy structures.
After some time in the cave and its surroundings, we took another short glacier walk as we hunt for secret and hidden glacier canyons
Visiting an ice cave is a “Once in a lifetime experience” – this was true, and we love nothing more than sharing this very unique experience with the other guests of the group!
Iceland’s ice caves are constantly shifting and changing with the seasons, so the caves that we experienced on our glacier tour will never exist in the same form again. The tour guides are always scouting the glacier ice for new and hidden caves, so they know exactly where to find the most spectacular (and the safest) ice caves to show for us on our tours. Some of these caves are on private land that can only be accessed with a Katlatrack guide.
After our ice-caving adventure, we headed back to the super jeep for our next destination to VIK we drove through some filming locations and our guide played famnious, well-known James Bond soundtracks very loudly on his CD. It was very exciting.

A Seljalandsfoss Izland egyik legismertebb vízesése, a szigetország egyik fő turista látványossága. Izland déli régiójában található, autóval könnyen megközelíthető. A zuhatag 60 méter magas. A folyó vize az Eyjafjallajökull vulkáni gleccserből ered.
A vízesés mögött egy barlang található, így a vízfüggöny hátulról is megtekinthető, s egészen egyedi perspektívából lehet gyönyörködni benne. A látogatók biztonságosan bemehetnek a lezuhanó víztömeg mögé nézelődni, fotózni. Bár lenyűgöző lehetőség a vizesés mögé menni, de a látogatóknak fel kell készülniük arra, hogy a vízesések állandó párája miatt elázhatnak, s a pára csúszóssá teszi az ösvényt.
A Seljalandsfoss vízesés, amely a Seljalandsá folyó része, s az Eyjafjallajökull gleccser alatt ered. A jégsapka alatti vulkán volt az, amely 2010-ben kitört, és nagy gondot okozott az európai légiközlekedésben.
A vízesés zuhatagja viszonylag keskeny, de egy magas szikláról esik le, amely egykor az ország partvonalát jelölte, a tenger most egy síkságon helyezkedik el, és látható a helyszínről.

After visiting Seljalandsfoss, it is common for visitors to continue north to the waterfall Gljúfrabúi, which is found partially hidden behind a rock face. Because of Seljalandsfoss extreme popularity, Gljúfrabúi is widely considered the hidden gem of the scene, as it is too often overlooked.

Georgia is a special destination. It is not in the focus of Hungarian travelers, and Batumi, located on the coast of the Black Sea, is rarely visited by our tourists. However, it would be a shame to miss this exotic destination with a subtropical climate.
In the city, the all-glass skyscrapers, the extravagantly shaped 30-40-story 5-star hotels lit up in different colors at night, the members of the world's largest and most popular hotel chains, the huge casinos, the luxury restaurants, the well-kept parks, the artificial lakes, the special attractions, the fountain shows, the boulevard lined with palm trees, the Batumi Eye wheel, the summer theater, and I could go on and on...
There is a direct flight from Budapest to the city of Kutaisi, which is not very convenient, because it operates on a night schedule, and from here it is another 3 hours by car to Batumi. The coastal city can also be reached during the day via Istanbul, because Batumi has an international airport, but this is a more expensive solution. Anyone can decide which one to choose if they want to travel here...

Visitors can explore the old town on foot, this charming quarterwith its traditional architecture and cobbled streets. The old town is home to the historic Piazza Square, where tourists can enjoy a coffee or a meal in a picturesque setting. This space is like being in Italy, it even has a stage where such greats as the tenor opera singer Placido Domingo have performed.
The restaurants of the old town surpass each other, Georgian cuisine offers an inexhaustible amount of delicious food and wine. Hachapuri is a must-try. This boat-shaped dish can even be called a Georgian cheese and cream pizza, topped with the yolk of a fresh egg. Very tasty, but very filling food.

A helyiek annyit isznak a boraikból, hogy azt sokan el sem tudják képzelni. Egy-egy ünnepségen minimum 19 „tósztot”, azaz köszöntőt mondanak, s minden alkalommal le kell hajtani egy pohár bort a vendégeknek, amit ki nem hagyna senki.
A Szent Szűz Születés Székesegyházat sem szabad kihagyni, de a modern építészet iránt érdeklődőknek a Batumi-torony is fergeteges látnivaló. Ez a 46 emeletes felhőkarcoló az ország egyik legmagasabb épülete, és lenyűgöző kilátást nyújt a városra és a tengerre. Az Európa-tér a Memed Abashidze sugárúton található. Itt áll Médea szobra, amely a régi görög mitológiai Kolkhisz dicsőségének szimbólumát - az aranygyapjút - hordozza. A nagy szökőkút és az elmúlt évszázadok gyönyörű épületei vonzóvá teszik ezt a helyet. A tér körül szállodák, éttermek, kávézók helyezkednek el, ahol kellemesen pihenhet az ember.

Akiket a bevásárló turizmus vonz, azoknak sem kell csalódniuk Batumiban. A Metro City Forum, a Black Sea Mall, a Batumi Mall és a Batumi Plaza mellett nemrégiben megnyílt a Grand Plaza is, amelyekben szinte minden világmárka butikjai megtalálhatók.
A gyerekek sincsenek elfelejtve ebben a városban, mert a városban cirkusz, a tengerparton vidámpark várja őket, este kivilágított sportpályákon focizhatnak, röplabdázhatnak a tengerparton, s a nagy attrakció a delfinárium. Minden nap 16 órakor delfin show szerepel a programban, de lehet együtt is úszni a delfinekkel, ami szintén sokakat érdekel, főképp, ha jó fotók készülnek.
Ha valaki Batumiba látogat tapasztalni fogja, hogy sok az építkezés. Egyrészt egymás után nőnek ki a földből az újabb és újabb luxushotelek, amelyeket főkép török, izraeli és orosz és hazai turisták töltenek, másrészt folyamatosan rombolják le a régi szovjet tipusú lakótelepi házakat, s a lakosokat átköltöztetik modern apartman házakba, amelyek már napjaink követelményei szerint készülnek, s a már lerobbant korábbiaknál sokkal kényelmesebbek, s szebbek.
Olyan gyorsan fejlődik ez a város, hogy kétséget kizáróan Batumi lesz hamarosan az új Dubaj.

There is no need to rent a car in Batumi, on the one hand, taxis are very cheap, and on the other hand, practically all attractions can be easily visited on foot.
Those who are attracted by shopping tourism will not be disappointed in Batumi either. In addition to the Metro City Forum, Black Sea Mall, Batumi Mall and Batumi Plaza, the Grand Plaza has recently opened, where you can find boutiques of almost all world brands.
Children are not forgotten in this city either, because there is a circus in the city, an amusement park on the beach, they can play soccer on lighted sports fields and play volleyball on the beach in the evening, and the big attraction is the dolphinarium. A dolphin show is included in the program every day at 4 p.m., but you can also swim with the dolphins, which is also of interest to many, especially if good photos are taken.
If you visit Batumi, you will notice that there is a lot of construction. On the one hand, more and more luxury hotels are rising from the ground one after the other, which are mainly occupied by Turkish, Israeli, Russian and domestic tourists, on the other hand, the old Soviet-style housing estates are constantly being demolished, and the residents are being moved to modern apartment houses, which are already built according to today's requirements and they are much more comfortable and more beautiful than the previous ones, which have already been demolished.
This city is developing so fast that without a doubt, Batumi will soon become the new Dubai

Az egyik oldaláról Dubaj ikonikus városképe gyönyörködtet mindenkit, másik oldala pedig a csillogó Arab-öbölre nyílik. A medencéhez egy koktélbár csatlakozik, mely a felejthetetlen naplemente helyszínek élvonalába repíti. Innen fotózni a Pálma-szigetet nem akármilyen élmény! Újdonság, hogy limitált számban külső vendéget is fogad a Cloud22, a legolcsóbb belépő fejenként 45 ezer forintra rúg, de aki mondjuk vízen ringatózó ágyban szeretne napozni, vagy privát kabanát kér, annak sokkal mélyebben kell nyúlnia a zsebébe. Három órán át lehet élvezni a hely vendéglátását a „külsősöknek”, (már ha lehet éppen foglalni, s nincs telt ház), s van kötelező fogyasztás is. Napszaktól és ágykategóriától függően más-más összeget kérnek, ami lehet akár fejenként 100150 ezer forintnak megfelelő emirátusi dirham is.
A vendégek ingyenesen használhatják egyébként az eredetileg a testvérhotelhez, az Atlantis The Palmhoz épült Aquaventure Waterpark vízi attrakcióit. Ez az egyik legnagyobb vízi élmény park a világon. Jelenleg 12 új csúszdával bővítette gyűjteményét, melyek összefonódva a 34 méter magas Trident Towerbúl indulnak. Ezekkel együtt 105-re nőtt a vízi attrakciók száma.

A Cshangdokkung palota a dél-kóreai Szöul legjobb állapotban megőrzött épület komplexuma Szöul öt királyi palotája közül, és egyben UNESCO világörökségi helyszín is. A palotanegyed egy nyilvános, turisták részére fenntartott területből, egy, a királyi család számára tervezett lakóépületből és egy hatalmas buja kertből áll, amely utóbbi a Huvon Titkos Kert nevet viseli. A Cshangdokkung palotát a fölé magasodó Pukhanszan-hegy teszi valóban lélegzetelállító látványossággá. Ne hagyjuk ki a palota mesés Indzsongmun kapuját, amely fénykorában számos királyi ceremóniának volt tanúja. Szintén említésre méltó a Kumcshongjo-híd, amely Szöul legrégebb óta fennmaradt hídja. A Huvon Titkos Kertbe belépő ellenében lehet bejutni, de ezt megéri kifizetni. A Cshangdokkung palota mögött álló több mint 31 hektáros kertben egy békés, vízililiomokkal teli tavat, egy kétszintes pavilont és egy hatalmas 300 éves fát is megcsodálhatunk.
A Cshangdokkung palota megközelíthető metróval, amelyről az Anguk metróállomáson kell leszállni, de innen pár háztömbnyit még gyalogolni kell, mielőtt elérjük a palota kertjét. Minden hónap utolsó szerdáján ingyenes a belépő, mert ez a kúltúra napja. Ilyenkor a helyi fiatalok beöltöznek kóreai nemzeti viseletbe, s úgy érkeznek a palotába, hogy ezáltal még jobban átszellemüljenek. A tavaszi cseresznye virágzás idején különösen sokan kersik fel fotozás céljából a palotát.
Changdeokgung Palace is the best-preserved building complex in Seoul (South Korea) among the five royal palaces in Seoul, and is also a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The palace area consists of a public area reserved for tourists, a residential building designed for the royal family and a huge lush garden, the latter of which is called the Huvon Secret Garden. Changdeokgung Palace is truly a breathtaking sight with Mount Pukhanshan rising above it. Don't miss the palace's fabulous Injongmun Gate, which witnessed many royal ceremonies in its heyday. Also worth mentioning is the Kumchongjo Bridge, which is the oldest surviving bridge in Seoul. There is an entrance fee to the Huvon Secret Garden, but it is worth paying for. In the more than 31-hectare garden behind Changdokkung Palace, you can admire a peaceful pond full of water lilies, a two-story pavilion and a huge 300-year-old tree. Changdeokgung Palace can be reached by subway, from which you have to get off at the Anguk subway station, but from there you have to walk a few more blocks before you reach the palace garden.
Admission is free on the last Wednesday of every month, because it is the day of the cultural tour. In such cases, local young people dress up in Korean national costumes and arrive at the palace in such a way that they become even more inspired. Especially during the spring cherry blossom season, many people visit the palace to take photos.

Until the Celebrity Xcel sets sail, in early November 2024, the staff of Jet Set magazine tested the Celebrity Eclipse cruise ship, which also sailed from Fort Lauderdale, and during its one-week trip, it docked at three wonderful Caribbean islands, in order in the Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico and St.Maarten. A Celebrity Eclipse hajót 2010-ben bocsátották vízre, de 2020-ban teljes renováláson esett át, így legszebb fényében ragyog jelenleg is. A hajó egyik különlegessége, hogy a legfelső szintjén igazi, élő gyepszőnyeggel ellátott park van, ahol egy finom koktél társaságában letelepedhet a vendég egy törülközőre napozni, de akár ki lehet próbálni a golfozás élményét is, hiszen 2 golflyukat is kialakítottak a fedélzeten azoknak, akik a rövid játékot vagy a gurítást szeretnék gyakorolni. A másik nagy attrakció az üvegfújás, ami egyedi az óceánokon. A fedélzeten készült csodás, különleges formájú üvegtárgyakat bárki meg is vásárolhatja.
Ezen a hajón Cellar Master néven borpince is található, itt a világ legjobb borai közül válogathat bárki. A rendkívül elegáns Moonlight Sonata étteremben terített asztalnál reggelizhet, ebédelhet és vacsorázhat a vendég. Az estebédek során igazi különlegességeknek számít az étlapon a francia desszertvajba forgatott éticsiga és a karib-tengeri homár. A gyorsétkezést a hatalmas Oceanview Cafe-ban lehet megoldani, ahol olyan nagy a svédasztalos választék, hogy elvész az ember az ételszigetek között.
Az igazi pihenés a medencék partján adott, a nyitott uszodák és pezsgőfürdők mellett úgy napozhat a vendég, hogy közben zenekarok játszanak, a fedettben pedig rossz idő esetén lehet élvezni az életet.
A hajón az Aqua Spa mindenkit kielégítő kezeléseket kínál a masszázsoktól a kozmetikáig.
A szórakozási lehetőségeket is ki kell emelni, számos, diszkó, zenés-táncos hely, s színház várja az utazókat, ez utóbbi – többek között – olyan látványos zenés műsorokat nyújt, amilyeneket csak a New York-i Broadwayen lehet látni.

The Celebrity Eclipse ship was launched in 2010, but underwent a complete renovation in 2020, so it still shines in its best light. One of the special features of the ship is that on the top level there is a real park with a living lawn, where guests can sit down on a towel to sunbathe with a delicious cocktail. You can try to play golf as there are 2 holes on board, if you want to practice short game. The other big attraction is glass blowing, which is unique in the oceans. Anyone can buy the wonderful, specially shaped glass objects made on board.
There is also a wine cellar called Cellar Master on this ship, where anyone can choose from the best wines in the world. Guests can have breakfast, lunch and dinner at the extremely elegant Moonlight Sonata restaurant. During the dinners, the real specialties on the menu are the French escargot rolled in dessert butter and the Caribbean lobster. Fast meals can be done in the huge Oceanview Cafe, where the buffet selection is so large that you can get lost among the food isles.
The real relaxation is on the banks of the pools, next to the open swimming pools and hot tubs, the guests can sunbathe while bands play, and in case of bad weather, you can enjoy life indoors. On the ship, the Aqua Spa offers treatments to suit everyone, from massages to cosmetics.
The entertainment options should also be highlighted, numerous
discos, music and dance venues and theaters await travelers, the latter of which - among other things - offers spectacular musical shows that can only be seen on New York's Broadway.
At Celebrity Eclipse, you can shop at luxury boutiques, and the Park West auction house holds painting auctions. If someone spends a lot of money, they can even win back at the ship's casino. I left the cabins and suites introduction for last. Good advice, the higher the floor you book, the less you can feel the waves on the ship. Interior cabins without windows are the cheapest, but it's worth choosing a cabin with a balcony and sleeping with the balcony door open, because you can't imagine anything more pleasant than that. The suites are the most comfortable, and of course the most expensive, you should know that they also come with special pampering services.
And then let me say a few words about the Caribbean ports. The first stop was in Puerto Plata of the Dominican Republic. The port is located in the immediate vicinity of Taino Bay, if you get off the boat, you can spend a wonderful day here for free. Many, many shops and bars await guests, large pools, a surfing simulator, a fast-flowing river, and many other experiences. For those who want a white sand beach with palm trees, Playa Dorada is recommended. It is easy to get to a resort from the port by tourist

Dominikán Puerto Plata volt a megállóhely. A kikötő a Taino Bay közvetlen közelében található, ha valaki leszáll a hajóról, itt ingyenesen eltölthet egy csodás napot. Sok-sok üzlet, s bár várja a vendégeket, nagy medencék, szörf szimulátor, gyorsfolyású folyó, s még számos más élmény. Aki pálmafás fehér homokos beachre vágyik, annak a Playa Dorada ajánlott. A kikötőből turista busszal vagy
taxival könnyű eljutni egy resortba, ahol a belépő mellé végtelen mennyiségű koktél is jár.
Puerto Rico az USA társult tagállama, fővárosa San Juan. Itt köt ki a hajó, nagyon közel az öreg városhoz. Gyalog bejárható, érdemes elmenni az El Morro erődhöz, ahonnan olyan panorámában lehet része az embernek, amit csak ritkán lát. Aki szeretne fürdeni, vagy búvárkodni, annak taxiba kell ülni, s 20 dollárért eljuthat a Condado Beach-re, ez a legközelebbi, s legszebb partszakasz a fővároshoz.
A harmadik kikötőnk St Maarten volt, amelynek fővárosa Philipsburg. Holland fennhatóságú, a sziget másik fele, St.Martin pedig francia. Itt is a fehér homokos tengerpartot kell élvezni, s a kék vizet bámulni, pár koktél társaságában. Akik ékszert szeretnének vásárolni, azoknak ez a kánaán, itt minden megtalálható az aranytól a gyémántig, ráadásul adómentes árakon. Visszatérve a hajóval Floridába Fort Lauderdale-t meg kell nézni a sok luxusvillával és a házak előtt horgonyzó jachtokkal, mint ahogy a kocsival egy órányira lévő Miamit is, ahol a Design negyed a legfelkapottabb a világ legdrágább és legelegánsabb luxusboltjaival...S persze nem árt megmártózni a South Beachen sem, főképp, ha éppen szélcsend honol, s nem borzolják a hullámokat hatalmas széllökések. Akinek van ideje és szeret vezetni, az bevállalhatja a Key Westbe vezető négy órás utat. Ez a legdélibb települése az USA-nak, s nagyon hangulatos, főleg a naplemente nagy szám. Minimum egy éjszaka ajánlott itt.

Puerto Rico is an associate state of the USA, its capital is San Juan. The boat docks here, very close to the old town. It can be explored on foot, it is worth going to the El Morro fort, from where you can enjoy a panorama that you rarely see. If you want to swim or dive, you have to take a taxi, and for $20 you can get to Condado Beach, which is the closest and most beautiful beach to the capital.
Our third port was St Maarten, whose capital is Philipsburg. It is under Dutch jurisdiction, and the other half of the island, St. Martin, is French. Here, too, you should enjoy the white sandy beach and gaze at the blue water, accompanied by a few cocktails. This is the Canaan for those who want to buy jewelry, everything from
gold to diamonds can be found here, and at tax-free prices. Returning to Florida by the ship, you must see Fort Lauderdale with its many luxury villas and yachts anchored in front of the houses, as well as Miami, an hour away by car, where the Design District is the hottest with the most expensive and most elegant luxury shops in the world... And of course it doesn't hurt to take a dip in South Beach either, especially if there is a calm wind and the waves are not disturbed by huge gusts. Those who have the time and like to drive can take the four-hour drive to Key West. This is the southernmost settlement of the USA, and it is very atmospheric, especially the sunset. A minimum of one night here is recommended.

Salta Ma már nemcsak a tájainak szépségéről, hanem a bor birodalmában való jelenlétéről is ismert. Az ország északi részén, a Cafayate-völgyben a Torrontés szőlőfajta otthonra talált. A napos, kevés csapadékos időjárásnak és a 3000 méteres tengerszint feletti magasságnak köszönhetően a szőlő itt jól érzi magát. Nem véletlenül vált tehát a fajta hivatalos otthonává. A Torrontés a Salta jelzője, mert ott találja meg a legjobb változatát: erős egyéniség, gyümölcsös illat és ellenállhatatlan íz.

La Rioja
Kétségtelen, hogy La Rioja az az úti cél, amely szilárd támpontot jelent a Torrontés térképén. Saltához hasonlóan a NOA régió része, és ezért a fejlődését elősegítő éghajlati jellemzőkkel rendelkezik: forró, száraz és kevés csapadék.
Zöld, vörös és sárga tónusú völgyei elég látványosak ahhoz, hogy betervezzük egyszer a tartományba való utazást. De az okok még inkább elegendőek, ha a táj szépségéhez hozzáadjuk a Torrontés finom aromáját. 19 pincészete – egy részük családi, mások pedig inkább ipari jelleget mutatnak – része a Riojan Torrontés útvonalának.
San Juan Az ország második legjelentősebb bortermelő tartománya. A völgyek és hegyoldalak teljes felületének akár 16%-át a bor előállítására fordítják, és bár a helyi ikonok tekintetében a Syrah áll az élen, ha a fehérborokról beszélünk, a Torrontés kétségtelenül a rivaldafénybe lép.

It is no coincidence, then, that it has become the official home to the variety. Torrontés is the token of Salta because it finds its best version there: a strong personality, fruity scent and irresistible taste. The plan includes visiting the wineries and tasting the star drink of the destination. Many of them are also lodgings, so sleeping surrounded by vineyards is part of the list of must-see places. To round out the reasons why this is a great wine destination, it is worth mentioning the Museum of the Vine and Wine -which spins a good yarn about the history and characteristics of the vineyards in the area- and the Colomé Winery, the oldest in the country with
more than 180 years of operation which, in turn, climbed to the 35th place of the best in the world by The World’s Best Vineyard.
La Rioja
If you have been reading carefully, you will know by now that the Rioja variant is the one that tops the list and takes the cake. So there is no doubt that La Rioja is another destination with a solid foothold on the Torrontés map. Like Salta, it is part of the NOA region and therefore shares features in the climate that favors its development: hot, dry and scarce rainfall.
Its valleys of green, red and yellow tones are good enough to plan a trip to the province. But the reasons are more than enough if we add, to the beauty of the scenery, the delicious aroma of Torrontés. Its 19 wineries -some of them family-owned and others showing a more industrial approach- are part of the Route of the Riojan Torrontés, which crosses the most productive and tourist-oriented regions to cherish even more the relevance of this grape variety.
San Juan
It is the second most important wine-producing province in the country. And in one where wine is so important, you can imagine that this is no small fish. As much as 16% of its total surface -painted by valleys and mountains- is dedicated to the production of the grape elixir, and although Syrah is the one that takes the lead in terms of local icons, when we talk about white wines, Torrontés undoubtedly steps onto the limelight.
Its arid soil and unwavering sunshine produce fertile vineyards where traditional but also modern and boutique wineries have set up shop. And with the latest machinery, they are encouraged to use new techniques in the industry and have achieved wine varieties that have won both national and international awards. The wine route through these areas is divided into five valleys -Calingasta, Pedernal, Tulum, Ullum-Zonda, and Fértil- and with numerous wineries open to the public, it is a one-of-a-kind wine travel tour in the country.

Magyarország talán legnépszerűbb kirándulóhelye minden évszakban izgalmas kalandokat, a nyugalomra vágyóknak pedig teljes kikapcsolódást kínál. Az utóbbi évek fejlesztéseinek köszönhetően megszámlálhatatlan lovasprogram, kerékpáros túrák, lebilincselő gyerekprogramok várják a látogatókat. 2024 szeptemberében pedig 1984 után újra a település adott otthont a négyesfogathajtó világbajnokságnak.
– 1984-ben, amikor először rendezték meg Szilvásváradon a négyesfogathajtó világbajnokságot II. Erzsébet, akkori brit uralkodó férje, Fülöp herceg részvétel, hatalmas fejlődésen ment keresztül a település, szinte minden utat leaszfaltoztak, bevezették a vezetékes telefont, felpezsdült az élet – emlékszik vissza a világraszóló eseményre a Heves vármegyei község polgármestere. – A mostani rendezéssel a 40 évvel ezelőtti versenynek is emléket állítottunk, ez is jelentős esemény volt a település életében, de az elmúlt 1020 év fejlesztéseinek köszönhetően, már felkészültünk egy ilyen volumenű rendezvény lebonyolítására, a látogatók fogadására. –teszi hozzá Szaniszló László.
Az elmúlt évben a Szilvásváradi Lipicai Lovasközpontban rendezték meg a Nemzeti Vágta döntőjét, és idén ismét a létesítmény adott otthont a lovasversenynek, 2024 október 5-én és 6-án. – A tavalyi Nemzeti Vágta döntője bebizonyította, hogy nem jelent fennakadást a közlekedésben a nagy létszámú vendégsereg fogadása, megoldott az elhelyezésük, a parkolóhelyek, éttermek rendelkezésre állnak. Immár 6 éve, hogy átadásra került a Szilvásváradi Lipicai Lovasközpont, a komplexum minden lovas szakágnak otthonául szolgál.
Az ország egyik leglátogatottabb turisztikai célpontja a Szalajka-völgy, melyet 7-800 ezer ember keres fel évente. A szilvásváradi erdei kisvasút az ország egyik legnépszerűbb kisvasútja, évente 280 000 utast szállít. A vonal hossza csaknem 5 kilométer, a Márkus Ágoston egri mérnök tervei alapján megépített keskeny nyomtávú, gőzüzemű erdei kisvonat 1908-ban kezdte meg működését. Külön érdekessége, hogy ez hazánk legmeredekebb vasúti pályája, a Halastó állomás után 50 ezrelékes az emelkedés.

– In 1984, when the four-wheel drive world championship II was held in Szilvásvárád for the first time. The participation of Elizabeth, the husband of the British ruler at the time, Prince Philip, the settlement underwent a huge development, almost all roads were asphalted, landline telephones were introduced, life was livened up – recalls the mayor of the village of Heves County about the world-famous event. – With the current arrangement, we also commemorated the competition 40 years ago, which was also a significant event in the life of the settlement, but thanks to the developments of the last 10-20 years, we are already prepared to hold an event of such a volume and to welcome visitors. – adds László Szaniszló.
Last year, the finals of the National Vágta were held at the Lipica Equestrian Center in Szilvásvárad, and this year the facility will host the equestrian competition again, on October 5 and 6, 2024.
– The final of last year's National Vágta proved that there is no interruption in traffic when hosting a large number of guests, their accommodation has been resolved, parking spaces and restaurants are available. It has been 6 years since the Lipica Equestrian Center in Szilvásvárad was handed over, and the complex serves as a home for all equestrian disciplines.
One of the most visited tourist destinations in the country is the Szalajka Valley, which is visited by 7-800 thousand people every year. The Szilvásvárad forest light railway is one of the most popular light railways in the country, carrying 280 000 passengers every year. The length of the line is almost 5 kilometers, the narrow-gauge, steam-powered forest train built according to the plans of Eger engineer Márkus Ágoston began operating in 1908. It is particularly interesting that this is the steepest railway track in our country, after the Halastó station the rise is 50 thousandths.

Az ősz a színek kavalkádja, télen lehet akár lovasszánozni is, tavasszal, amikor ébred a természet, nincs kellemesebb hely egy jó sétára, nyáron pedig a hűsítő Szalajka-patak mellett könnyebben elviselhető a hőség. A völgyben átlagosan 2-3 fokkal hűvösebb van, mint a településen. A kisvasút szinte egész évben működik, és minden második, harmadik hétvégén tartanak lovasrendezvényeket. Bizonyított, hogy már ősember is élt Szilvásváradon, a legrégebbi lelet, egy szakóca, mely 200 000 évnél is idősebb. 1911-től kezdődően több régészeti ásatás során számos maradvány került elő: többek között a világ második legősibb fuvolája, 44 000 éves csont nyílhegyek és egy őskőkori tűzhely, amely a Magyar Nemzeti Múzeum gyűjteményében látható.
– 2016-ban is hatalmas régészeti feltárás zajlott a lovaspálya helyszínén, az ásatások során a régészek találtak egy azóta kultikussá vált késő-bronzkori lószobrocskát, ez is azt jelzi, hogy sokezer évvel ezelőtt is úgy éltek már itt az emberek, hogy lovakat tartottak. A tárgyi bizonyítékok segítségével az ősembertől szinte napjainkig végig követhető, hogy ki és mikor élt a környéken, milyen tevékenységet végeztek, milyen eszközöket használtak. – meséli Szaniszló László. Az Istállós-kői-barlang kellemes túrával közelíthető meg a Szalajka-völgyből, a Bükk-hegység második legmagasabb csúcsának oldalában, kb. 560 méteres magasságban nyílik. Már a 80-as években is működött helytörténeti múzeum a településen, de a kiállítási anyag elkerült az Egri Vármúzeumba. Nemrégiben azonban egy nagyszabású felújításnak köszönhetően sikerült megnyitni az Orbán Ház Helytörténeti Kiállítóhely és Archeoparkot. – Három éve adódott a lehetőség, hogy egy Interreg szlovák-magyar pályázat keretében – a felvidéki Gombaszöggel közösen –kibővítsük az épületet és létrehozzunk egy interaktív rendezvényközpontot. – számol be a község polgármestere. Szaniszló László elmondta, hogy a múzeumban bemutatkoznak a vidék jellegzetességei, a helyi mesterségek. A látogatók kipróbálhatják a kerámiázást, az íjászatot vagy akár a régészeti homokozót is. Az érdeklődők megismerhetik a kőpattintást, ősi eszközökkel gyújthatnak tüzet, őrölhetnek gabonát, de akár saját kőbaltát is készíthetnek. Az Archeopark élményt jelent valamennyi korosztály számára!
– Az elmúlt években az átlagosan nálunk töltött vendégéjszakák száma 2-ről 3-ra emelkedett. A szilvásváradi pihenés összekapcsolható egy egri kirándulással, de akár Aggtelekre, Jósvafőre, Miskolctapolcára is el lehet látogatni. – ad ötleteket Szaniszló László.
A polgármester azt mondja, ha valaki valóban a természetben szeretne kikapcsolódni, nincs alkalmasabb helyszín, mint Szilvásvárad és környéke. – Mi úgy mondjuk, nálunk a csend is hallható!

In the valley, it is on average 2-3 degrees cooler than in the settlement. The light railway operates almost all year round, and equestrian events are held every second or third weekend.
The oldest find, a sákoca, which is older than 200,000 years, proved that an ancient man had already lived in Szilvásvárad. Starting in 1911, many remains were discovered during several archaeological excavations: among others, the second oldest flute in the world, 44,000-year-old bone arrowheads and a prehistoric stove, which can be seen in the collection of the Hungarian National Museum.
– In 2016, a huge archaeological excavation took place at the site of the horse track, during the excavations the archaeologists found a Late Bronze Age horse statuette that has since become a cult, which also indicates that people lived here many thousands of years ago by keeping horses. With the help of physical evidence, it is possible to trace who and when lived in the area, what activities they did, what tools they used, from prehistoric times to almost the present day – says László Szaniszló.
The Istállós-kői-cave can be reached by a pleasant hike from the Szalajka Valley. On the side of the second highest peak of the Bükk Mountains, approx. It opens at an altitude of 560 meters. Already in the 80s, there was a local history museum in the settlement, but the exhibition material escaped to the Egri Castle Museum. However, recently, thanks to a large-scale renovation, it was possible to open the Orbán Ház Local History Exhibition and Archeopark.
– Three years ago, we had the opportunity to expand the building and create an interactive event center in the framework of an Interreg Slovak-Hungarian tender – together with Gombaszög from the highlands," reports the mayor of the village.
László Szaniszló said that the characteristics of the region and local crafts are presented in the museum. Visitors can try pottery, bow fishing or even the archaeological sandpit. Those interested can learn about stone tapping, light a fire with ancient tools, grind grain, and even make their own stone axe. Archeopark is an experience for all ages!

A Forma-1 a világ egyik legnézettebb sorozata, s mint tudjuk, minden versenyhétvégén úgynevezett betétfutamok alatt is izgulhatunk, valamint sok nagyon szimpatikus fiatal versenyzőt ismerhetünk meg, akik egyszer még a „nagyok” közé is végleg berobbanhatnak.
A 2024 tavaszi Monacoi Nagydíj során a Forma-2, a Forma-3 és a Porsche Mobil 1 versenysorozatok futamait nézhettük meg. A FIA Forma-2 bajnokság 2017-ben indult a megszüntetett GP2 utódjaként, így most ez számít a Forma-1 előszobájának. A versenysorozatot azért hozták létre, hogy minden csapat számára megfizethető viadal induljon, tökéletes felkészülést biztosítva a pilóták esetleges Forma-1-es pályafutásra. A Forma-2 szervezőbizottsága kötelezővé tette, hogy az összes csapat ugyanazt a futóművet, motort és gumiabroncs-szállítót használja.
Formula 1 is one of the most watched racing series in the world, and as we know, every race weekend we can get excited during the so-called special races, as well as get to know many very likeable young drivers who may even break into the "big ones" one day.
During the spring 2024 Monaco Grand Prix, we were able to watch the races of the Formula 2, Formula 3 and Porsche Mobil 1 racing series.
The FIA Formula 2 championship started in 2017 as the successor to the discontinued GP2, so it is now considered the anteroom of Formula 1. The race series was created in order to start an affordable contest for all teams, ensuring the perfect preparation for the drivers' possible career in Formula 1. Formula 2's organizing committee has mandated that all teams use the same chassis, engine and tire supplier.
The competitions take place mainly on European tracks. Race weekends start on Fridays, at which time the drivers have a 45-minute free practice session before the 30-minute qualifying session. The latter decides on the starting order of Saturday's race. During the race, every competitor is obliged to change a wheel once. On Sunday, a so-called sprint race is organized, and the starting order of this is determined by the finisher of the previous day's race, from the first to the eighth placed on Sunday, they start in reverse order, so the eighth in the main race on Saturday is from the pole position, while the winner is from the eighth place. A pit stop is not mandatory here. The first 10 places in the main race receive championship points, from 1 to 25 points, i.e. the scoring of Sunday's main race is the same as that of Formula 1.
A viadalok főleg az európai pályákon zajlanak. Péntekenként kezdődnek a versenyhétvégék, ekkor a pilótáknak egy 45 perces szabadedzés áll rendelkezésükre a 30 perces időmérő edzés előtt. Utóbbi dönt a szombati futam rajtsorrendjéről. A futam során minden versenyzőnek kötelező egyszer kereket cserélnie. Vasárnap úgynevezett sprintversenyt rendeznek, ennek rajtsorrendjét pedig az előző napi futam befutója határozza meg, az elsőtől a nyolcadik helyezettig vasárnap fordított sorrendben rajtolnak el, így tehát a szombati főverseny nyolcadikja a pole-pozícióból, míg annak győztese a nyolcadik helyről. Itt nem kötelező a bokszkiállás. A főverseny első 10 helyezettje részesül bajnoki pontokban, 1-től 25 pontig, azaz a vasárnapi főverseny pontozása a Forma-1-ével megegyező. A pole-pozícióért 4 pontot, a leggyorsabb körért 2 pontot kap a versenyző. A vasárnapi sprintverseny első 8 helyezettje a következő pontokat kapja: 1-től 15 pontig. A leggyorsabb körért 2 pontot kap a versenyző. Volt már világbajnok a sorozatban Charles Leclerc, George Russell, Nyck de Vries, Mick Schumacher és Oscar Piastri is. A televíziós jogokat a Forma-1-hez hasonlóan a FOM (Formula One Management) birtokolja, Magyarországon pedig a közmédia egyik csatornája, az M4 Sport közvetíti az eseményt.
A 2024-es Forma-2 Monacói Nagydíj a szezon ötödik versenyhétvégéje volt, amit 2024. májusában rendeztek meg. Az idei szezonban a következő pilóták vannak a mezőnyben: Zane Maloney, Ritomo Miyata, Trevor Carlin, Victor Martins, Zak O’Sullivan, Jak Crawford, Juan Manuel Correa, Kush Maini, Gabriel Borteleto, Oliver Bearman (ő már a Ferrarival Forma 1-es versenyt is futott), Andrea Kimi Antonelli, Joshua Dürksen, Taylor Barnard, Isack Hadjar, Pepe Marti, Franco Colapinto, Dennis Hauger, Enzo Fittipaldi, Rafael Villagomez, Roman Stanek, Richard Verschoor, Amaury Cordeel és Paul Aaron.
Az első verseny (szombati) pole-pozícióját Richard Verschoor kaparintotta meg. A vetélkedés leggyorsabb körét az új olasz szupersztár, a Mercedes kiszemeltje, Andrea Kimi Antonelli futotta, az első verseny győztese a brit Taylor Barnard lett. A második Gabriel Bortoleto, a harmadik Dennis Hauger lett. A második nap (vasárnapi, a sprintverseny) pole-pozícióját Richard Verschoor kaparintotta meg. A második verseny leggyorsabb körét Dennis Hauger futotta, a győztese az amerikai Zak O’Sullivan lett. A másodikként Isack Hadjar, a harmadikként Paul Aron végzett.

The pole position of the first race (Saturday) was grabbed by Richard Verschoor. The fastest lap of the competition was run by the new Italian superstar, the Mercedes pick Andrea Kimi Antonelli, the winner of the first race was the British Taylor Barnard. Second was Gabriel Bortoleto, third was Dennis Hauger. The pole position of the second day (Sunday, the sprint race) was grabbed by Richard Verschoor. The fastest lap of the second race was run by Dennis Hauger, the winner was the American Zak O'Sullivan. Isack Hadjar finished second, Paul Aron third.

A borászatok önálló turisztikai látogatóhellyé nőtték ki magukat, a vinotékák polcain az egységes arculat megkülönböztethetővé teszi az egyes termelők borait. A bortermelő régiók kiállításokon, szakmai lapokban, külföldieknek szóló magazinokban mutatkoznak be. A bor mint árucikk és a hozzá kapcsolódó szolgáltatások „európaias” köntösben kínálják magukat az érdeklődőknek.
Az egységes arculatnak nem csupán a borosüvegek címkéin kell megjelennie. A borászatoknál, a kitelepüléseken, a bor- és egyéb fesztiválok standjain is bizalmat, pozitív üzenetet ad, ha poharak, a dolgozók ruházata, a szóróajándékok és a megvásárolható kereskedelmi termékek is a kialakított arculat meghatározó jegyeit viselik. Tapasztalatból tudom, hogy egy borospince meglátogatása után néhány nappal, a kiváló italok és borkorcsolyák ízén kívül nem sok kézzelfogható emlékem marad az adott helyről. Nincs elérhetőség, esetleg már a pince nevét is elfelejtettem. A barátaimnak, ismerőseimnek nem tudom azt mondani, hogy „ide és ide menjetek, mert megéri”. Ezért is tartom fontosnak, hogy a borászatok, pincék tartsanak különböző szóró- vagy megvehető ajándékokat. Mindenki szeret kapni valamit, főleg grátisz. A tollakat, boralátéteket és egyéb ajándéktárgyakat csekély ráfordítással be lehet beszerezni, a vendégek mégis úgy érzik, sokkal többet kaptak. Vállalkozásunk, a Clubex Kft. szóró- és egyéb üzleti ajándékok forgalmazásával és importjával foglalkozik. Termékeinket az ügyfél kívánsága szerint perszonalizáljuk. Megbízóinkra nem erőltetünk rá semmit, közös megbeszélésen határozzuk el, hogy milyen árucikk illik legjobban az ügyfél marketingpolitikájához.
