Néhány mesébe illő helyet mutatunk, melyet legalább egyszer mindenkinek látnia kellene: Grand Prismatic Spring, Egyesült Államok. A világ harmadik legnagyobb melegvízű forrása az Új-Zélandi Frying Pan-tó és a Dominikai Köztársaságban található Boiling-tó után. 112 méter átmérőjű, vagyis valamivel nagyobb, mint egy focipálya. St.Michael’s Mount – Cornwall, Anglia. A Szent Mihály-hegyi kastély egy kis szigeten áll Marazion partjainál. Apálykor a töltésen keresztül lehet átsétálni ide, dagálykor pedig csónakok szállítják a turistákat a festői szigetre. Véres időszakokat élt át a hegyi kastély, beleértve a normann hódítást, a Rózsák háborúját, a spanyol armada támadásait és a polgári forradalmat is. 1659-ben került Sir John St. Aubyn birtokába került, azóta is az ő leszármazottai élnek itt. Ik Kil víznyelő, Mexikó. Az Ik Kil egy úgynevezett cenote, vagyis mély víznyelő Mexikó Yucatán államában, Tinum községben, a világörökség részét képező Chichén Itzá romváros közelében.
