Transcon's White Gold Charolais Sale, Ultimate Red and Black Simmental Sale and Fleckvieh Equation
Welcome to the 2025 edition of what’s quickly becoming known as the “Trio” Sale. The addition of White Gold to the Simmental weekend just made sense when we first tried it three years ago—and time has certainly proven it. These two breeds complement each other like no others, creating a synergy that elevates the entire event.
Rather than thinking of it simply as the “Simmental weekend,” we believe Saturday, December 20th deserves its own identity: Super Saturday—the day when these powerhouse breeds come together to deliver one of the most exciting sales of the entire year.
We strongly believe in creating a place where new and upcoming breeders can market their bulls and females alongside established programs. The Trio Sale has become the ideal venue for exactly that. We also want to take this time to thank the consignors who have been here with us for over a decade—we deeply value that loyalty.
It’s an incredible time to be in this industry, with prices still hovering near recent record highs. This sale truly has something for everyone. Whether you’re searching for a show prospect to hang a halter on or a profitable herd-bull maker, you’ll find it here.
This year, we are pleased to welcome new consignors, returning consignors, and a few familiar names who need no introduction. On behalf of all these consignors, the Transcon team invites you to join us on December 20th at Westerner Park for the White Gold, Ultimate Red & Black, and Fleckvieh Equation sales.
If you’re unable to attend in person, please don’t hesitate to reach out to anyone on the Transcon team for conflict-free bidder representation.
Sincerely,
Cody Coupland

Lady Mae is a special heifer; her mom is headed to the donor pen this spring as she can produce the big power that this breed is known for and is so structurally correct. She milks and is so big bodied yet moves out and travels really well on very good feet. I truly believe this is a heifer that will crank out excellent bulls that will be easily marketable. Power, productivity and highly sought after genetics on both sides of her pedigree. This one is really tough to let go!
HOMO POLLED
Carly cow family is just about to blossom for us and the other breeders that have acquired Carly females from us, exciting times ahead for this cow family. Really nice udders, good milking and longevity in the cow family. Carly has that great show look, easy on the eyes, and great on paper, and sired by PCC Husk! A combination that will have high ROI!

We aimed to bring two hairy, stylish heifer calves to town, and these Kickstart heifers truly stood out all summer. We’re excited to show case these two females, out of the previous show bull of the year! If you’re looking to raise some ranch-style bulls, these heifers are perfect for the job. The Kickstart bulls are looking fantastic, but we’re just as eager to see the females hit production! Lot 5 owned with TF Cattle Co Ltd.

When Cody toured in the summer and asked if he could have one of our top two heifer calves……… I said no. As time passed, I realized at some point we were going to have to let a good female go. I told Cody I would bring two home and he could have one. As more time has passed, I think it is best for you to pick which one Cody can have! Things that have made the decision impossible for me…… as most already know we bought two different packages of bred cows, one from the Thurston’s and another from the Weston’s. Well, these two heifers are the daughters of what I feel could be the best cow from each herd…… 3B was one of the first cows we seen the day we went to Wendall’s. I remember having him stop the side by side so I could get out and take a picture of this magnificent female. Needless to say, when it came time to decide which cow we could use as a donor female she was one we wanted in there for sure. 353F has proven she gets the nod from the Thurston cows! Not only does she have 3 daughters working for them, but we were able to bring her heifer calf with us when the brought the cows home. Yes, this makes 522N her fifth daughter to be in production. I should also add that one of our best bulls last year was a 353F son! See all this makes the decision difficult!! The best news is either way you won’t be wrong and either way I am thrilled to bring the other one back home! Genetic Tests have been ordered and are awaiting the results.

Here is something new for us, our first Charolais consignment. We bought this heifers dam at this very sale as our first Charolais female from the great people of Eagle Valley Farms the Kruger’s. Ms Bourbon is her first calf, and we are excited about this heifer and her dam. Great haired, long bodied very attractive look with a sweet front end. Her dam EVF Carly 318L has a great udder, nice teat placement and size. Powerful moderate framed cow that has matured into a very beautiful cow. Sired by the poplar Bourbon bull who whose dam needs no introduction. From showing to producing Berkly Ann 8507 has accomplished a very great track record. This heifer has a lot to offer and has been managed to last. This new journey into the Charolais breed has us very excited.

Miss Nalani 10N is a deep-bodied, soundfooted heifer that brings together a balanced pedigree and impressive numbers. Sired by TRI-N Colorado Low 208K, she carries his trademark depth, muscle shape, and overall eye appeal, while her dam, JIL Hawaii 102J, contributes a strong maternal foundation and excellent udder quality. Her WW, YW, MTL, TSI, CW, and REA EPDs all rank in the top 15%, underscoring her blend of performance and carcass merit. Nalani is a complete, attractive package; the kind of female that will develop into a productive, high-quality brood cow with plenty of future in any herd.
Miss Nettie 22N is a soft-made, easy-keeping February born heifer who offers a strong balance of performance and practicality. This stylish heifer comes off a first-calf heifer, showcasing early maternal strength and production potential. Her BW, WW, YW, MTL, TSI, and CW EPDs all rank in the top 20%, adding a performance edge to her functional, eye-appealing design. Miss Nettie is the kind of heifer that’s built to last; moderate, sound, and ready to go to work in any program looking to add depth and quality.

Back In Black Simmentals
Welcome to Transcon’s Ultimate Red and Black XXVIII. We would like to extend a Thank you to the Transcon Livestock Team, our bidders and buyers from previous sales, McEwen’s in Stony Plain, Masterfeeds and our Vets at Barr-North and Morenergy Vet services! We couldn’t do all that we do without all of you.
This is our fourth year consigning heifers to this sale and we figured we would offer four breds for four years! Three bred heifers off of our main herd bull Kruz and one bred heifer off our bombproof heifer bull Jacob. We purchased a package of Wheatland Monument 28H and bred two of the heifers likewise, one to LENG MOTO MOTO 75M, (who was set to be a sale feature but split his toes on icy ground prior to our bull sale) and the final heifer was bred to our exciting Walk the Line son BLI Line Walker 2312L, whose calves come out fast and get to growing quickly.
All bred heifers have been confirmed Safe to breeding dates by our vets at Barrnorth Veterinary Clinic.

A natural calf off our donor female TSF Emma 29E and our main herd bull Kruz who is building quite the reppart for himself. The Emma cow family is one we hold in extremely high regard around here. We feel that LENG Matron 83M has a lot to offer, with an exciting future ahead of her. She is already dropping a lovely udder and is hard not to love with her clean build and in your pocket personality. Her maternal sister was the high selling black open heifer at this sale in 2023, her paternal sister was the lead off high selling open heifer at this sale in 2024, and her paternal brother was lead off high selling Black bull at Northern Connection this past spring. Matron’s pedigree is interesting to dive into, going back to the Pashmenia, Linette, and the Deva families as well as the highly respected Connected bull. Her breeding to the $80,000 Wheatland Monument should make for a great calf. A heifer we truly believe is destined for greatness, have a look here you won’t be disappointed. .
During preg checking the vet felt she was safe to A.I but it was too close to tell, we never saw her come into heat during her exposure, and are quite certain she stuck to her A.I . We will pay for sire verification on this calf.

Take a look at this powerful Kruz daughter, with a splash of his trademark chrome. She carries herself very well, with a feminine build that doesn’t lack a thick rear end and a big barrelled middle, she is one strong female that will have a good presence sale day. Her Dam Kin Kin Peggy Sue 49H is ranked very high in our herd, for her easy fleshing ability, udder structure and her ability to crank out productive offspring. Mary-Kates maternal brother was our high seller at our inaugural bull sale in 2023 to Massinon Farms, and her paternal brother lead off our 2025 bull sale and was also our high seller to Massinon Farms. As these Kruz offspring mature they are shaping up to be our kind of cattle; broody, big middled, strong females with ideal dispositions.

The name Majesty was a perfect choice for this female. She is royalty by design, with her perfect blaze, and thick stout build. She will easily be a front pasture cow, that will hopefully make someone very happy in the future! She is good footed, good uddered, good mannered, good haired and good lookin’. Her Blackhawk dam TSF Hayley 112H marks them with a low to the ground meat machine build. A perfect example of that is her 2025 bull calf who is one you can’t quit looking at. Her breeding to Moto Moto is going to be an exciting one and I’m willing to bet the calf will have a GREAT blaze. She was hands down the easiest heifer of the group to halter break and was leadable after 3 times on the halter. Majesty is hard for us to part with but we believe in “holding nothing back” and are committed to bringing our best to town.

Miss Beast is her mothers first calf and by the looks of her second calf she isn’t planning on missing a single beat. We have to admire when a first calver produces like this right out of the gate. Her sire has put every daughter born here back into the herd with their unparalleled calving ease, fantastic udders, great feet and curve bending ADG. Our Jacob daughters have quickly become some of the best cattle on our property, we figured its only fair that we start sharing them! Her name: “Miss Beast” is an Homage to her Grandsire BEE Beast 241H who topped the purebred pen at Beechinors Bull sale in 2021, Beast has been incredibly influential on the Skyline Simmentals herd with plenty of offspring also walking the pastures at Beechinor Bros. Miss Beast is a beautiful, feminine, smooth made, long bodied female, who is dropping a beautiful udder. Her mother walked this ring at Red and Black so its only fair that she follows her foot steps.

With our return to Red and Black, I really wanted to promote our red program so I dug deep and I am going to offer you something extremely special. Not only is 478M a very complete female and has that broody look we all love. 478M’s dam, BEE 62X, is a female who I flushed this spring. The only reason I am willing to let this female sell is due to that fact. Her ability to raise top end calves year after year is uncanny. We have bred her 10 different ways and every time she brings home the top of the pen. We have only offered two other daughters. The first, made her way down to Iowa and is working for Albert Putz. The second was our high selling red bred in 2023 selling to Ag Land Farms. We currently have three daughters working for us and ironically they also bring in top end calves. If you are in the business of raising red purebred Simmental cattle, please be sure to look at this female. To make the pot even sweeter she is carrying a pregnancy to the curve bending Red Wolf.

A hairy, long spined, deep sided Circle G Heat Wave daughter who has been a stand out since day one. It is hard to see her go but I have a full sister that just weaned off at 820lbs!!! I guess I can say it wasn’t a fluke…… 33J, 449M’s dam, is a beautiful dark red cow with a perfect udder! These will be our first Heat Wave daughters to calve and from what I have heard they are making tremendous cows! To say we are excited about Heat Waves impact on our herd is an understatement! On a side note…. 33J has a Red Wolf son working at MCG Simmentals……. 449M….. is carrying a Red Wolf pregnancy…… wink wink.

Her dam, 338F, was one of our top picks at the Skors Dispersal Sale and she hasn’t let us down. With two daughters working in the herd we thought we could let this one come to town. 451M’s sire is our high selling bull in 2021 going to Skyline Simmentals. We were fortunate enough to secure some semen on him. Needless to say, we have had a couple sets of daughters calve and they are outstanding cows!! Another very good Beast daughter! If you like capacity in your cattle, this one has it! If you like strong cow families, this girl is one that needs strong consideration. I say this as The Nydam cow family has been one of the most productive cow families in our entire herd! I could go on and on about the impact Nydam, 404M’s grand dam, has had on our farm and in our replacement pens over the last several years! 538C, 404M’s dam, is a cow that has the same capacity and always brought a great calf in year after year. Now add Beast and his maternal power to the mix!! I will be excited to see what this female does down the road!! Oh, I should mention she is bred to Red Wolf! Talk about a good chance on getting this heifer paid for on the first calf!

Like I said a bit earlier, with our return to Red and Black I wanted to bring something special. 490M is just that, long, deep, feminine, and among the best we can offer. As I admire this female all I can think to myself is why! Why are you selling her?! This females pedigree is packed with cow power. ETZ 241Z, ETZ 226A, BEE 477B, KOP 67U, KOP 6P, all cows that have put high end bulls into the industry! The names of these bulls might ring a bell, Beast, High Roller, O’Keefe, Commotion, Crosby! Speaking of bulls, 14H, 490M’s dam, raised a 1000lbs bull calf this year! So, believe me when I say this young female has bull maker written all over her! The calf in this bred female has the potential to be special regardless if it comes out male or female!

This bred heifer has been on the radar since the beginning. To date we are seeing the Alpha progeny being born with low gestations and small birthweights. The most exciting part of this is the fact they still have outstanding growth. Yes a true curve bender!!! 401M was no exception as she started at 81lbs and walked across the scale at 923lbs last fall! Oh should I mention off a first calf heifer. I still can’t believe this heifer is coming to town. There is something about her that I have always liked and even as I write this comment, I am jealous that I won’t be the one to see her calve and develop into a cow… I don’t know if it’s the perfect blaze, the exceptional length of spine, her depth or just a combo of how she puts it all together! Although 436M’s dam, 270K, was a first calf heifer we had high expectations with her being a 224B crossed with Connected. Both 224B and Connected have a history of producing outstanding females and 270K is just that! Now add Red Wolf to the equation, the direction one could go are endless! Wait she is bred to Slider……. I had better move onto the next comment before I change my mind about bringing 436M to town!

Another heifer I have enjoyed watching develop and definitely sad to see her go! But someone is going to end up with an outstanding female! 400M is not only the daughter to one of the most eye appealing cows we own, 197F, but she is a daughter to the great Captain Blaze 5C! To put it all together, Captain Blaze is the sire to Red Wolf, Red Wolf is the sire to Alpha!! I think I found the culprit of the low birth weight and great growth! What is exciting here is that 197F, 400M’s dam, is showing us that she is the same! All her calves have been born small and do a great job of pushing down the scales. I will let you in on a little secret…… 197F will be entering the donor pen this spring……. Oh I almost forgot, 400M and 197F were one of the pairs we took down to Clearwater Simmentals to display at the World Congress!!!

“Meredith” has really stood out over the past year in our heifer pen. With her friendly disposition, and great build, she was hard not to notice. She is a very feminine, deep, hairy, blaze-faced addition to any program. We have a few TSF FLYER 13F daughters in our commercial herd, as well as our papered simmentals, and they have proven to have a lot of calving ease and growth! We will be eagerly awaiting updates regarding the calf inside of her. This is our first year at the Ultimate Red and Black sale, and we are excited to be able to offer two of our bulls. We started our small purebred herd five years ago. We rely heavily on AI sires to expand our genetic diversity in order to be able to offer both quality and variety in our stock. Staying small and carefully choosing each of the females to enter our program has allowed us to produce some top-quality animals that we are proud to be able to offer.

This bull is the complete package! Excellent muscle and performance while maintaining calving ease and low birth weight. He walks out smoothly and has excellent feet. His dam was purchased last December as a bred heifer from Erixon Simmentals. She did not disappoint with her strong maternal qualities and near-perfect udder.
Shamrock has a quiet, calm demeanor, making him a family favorite. Look for him to add pounds and style to your calves. If EPDs are important, definitely take a look at his! Heifer safe and performancepacked, Shamrock will be a great fit for any program.

When deciding on sale females this year we made the decision to sell the ones that really hurt to part with, ones that represent our breeding philosophy and goals and that could make an impact on other herds. 137K has done a tremendous job for us siring a highly sought after group of bulls for the sale, to a potent replacement pen. 45M offers a pedigree you will not find every day. We all talk about outcross genetics and if you look at the bottom of this pedigree it really is outcross to a lot of today’s widely used genetics. Now tie that together with a maternal punch from Epic and Bootlegger make this one kind of special. 45M is attractive and well-constructed with plenty of bone on a quality foot. Her robust rib shape and depth of body scream production ability. Bred up to the Nightwatch son for a potential red blaze faced calf make this one worth a second look.

Welcome back to another fantastic addition of Ultimate Red and Black! I want to extend a huge thank you to our 2024 buyers and to the team at Transcon for all the great work they do!
We have dug deeper into our replacement pen than we ever have before to build this offering. The breds as always, are bred as if I am going to keep them for myself. So the crosses are extremely exciting! The open heifers we have on offer this year are a must see. The group is solid all the way across and there’s something for everyone! The heifer calves are halter broke and quiet, making them perfect for handling, or if you are looking for a female to add to the show string they have a fantastic head start! This is a hard group of females to part with, but I am confident that they will go out and be productive cows you’ll be proud to own.
All of the females have had an ultrasound and either pregnancy checked or palpated.
If you have any questions, or would like to see the heifers prior to the sale, please don’t hesitate to reach out!

This is a fantastic female. Mojito is the type of heifer that you can’t stop looking at. She’s extremely fancy made, and moves out very well. Shes long spined with great extension through her front end. She carries a big barrel, tying into her hind third that carries a ton of muscle. This heifer is attractive from all angles. Her dam has made her mark on the herd being a high production female. Ms Depty weaned off a ripper of a bull calf at 960lbs this fall. Her sire Beast, needs no introduction. He marks his females with a fancy face a fantastic udder structure. Mojito is a very easy keeping, naturally chunky heifer. She has a very laid back and docile temperament, she doesn’t get excited about much. If you’re looking for a female to put bulls in the sale pen and females in the herd, take a serious look here. Keato Meadow Simmentals
Keato Meadow Simmental Family would like to say a huge thank you to our past buyers & bidders. We look forward to this sale every year, and invite you to come and appraise the genetic breeding potential this sale offers with many different breeders under one roof. This year we have decided to disperse our entire bred heifer group, which is both difficult and exciting. With cattle prices soaring at an all time high and our bred heifer group being the strongest and most complete, we felt this would be a good year to showcase our program as a whole. In this bred heifer group, you’ll see a good blend of performance and production longevity through cow families. BROOK 8B I have to mention for her influence in our herd as well as several other herds, she is the Dam to our lead off heifer Memphis 22M. We also have 5 Quantum daughters that I believe are right on and have developed nicely for the cattle breeder industry today. The Sanchez daughters bring a little different genetic combinations, with longevity backing them through their cow families. Rounding out the lineup is a Yuma, Jax, High Definition, Hansolo and 2 Sozo’s that represent some of our mainstay cow families. All heifers have been preg checked and should be safe to the observation dates for each heifer, also, they are fully vaccinated and Ivomec in November, no scourguard.
Join us sale day, I would love to chat with you about these future herd matrons. Jonathan & Ebony

Monet is a special one coming from the KSL Goldie. Incredible growth on grass and milk with no creep on pasture. Heaviest heifer we have ever weaned. She Is the thickest and deepest polled heifer we have ever produced. Of course coming from the Goldie she has the temperament of a golden retriever, you better be willing to drop everything and give her a scratch in the pen.
Her maternal sister MBM Marigold was the high selling open heifer last year selling to Jem Simmental.
We see a bright future for Monet.

Her sire KSL Cross Country is our calving ease bull that has shown explosive growth in his calves while keeping the birth weights low.
Her dam MBM Kendall is a very deep dark red cow that up and coming in our herd. With KSL Goldie in the blood lines you know it will be good.

A dark red powerful Sterling daughter off a real nice polled fullblood cow we bought from Nickel Farms. Power, hair, and good feet are pretty consistent with the Sterling offspring.
A polled Sterling calf. If you're into polled fullblood and cross between horned and polled should work well when you cross them back that way. 65N should make a real nice moderate cow as she matures.

A female I’ve long awaited! Her dam, KSL 34H has proven to be one of my top-producing cows and a cornerstone in my program. Maternal sister to JEMS Pretty Boy 04K, a bull I retained and used heavily in my herd. His progeny debuted in this year’s Northern Connection Sale in St. Paul, where he sired my high-selling bull that went to Portiek Simmentals, along with several daughters heading to this years Equation Sale. KSL 34H has truly made her mark, and much of my herd is confidently built around her strength and consistency. This heifer is the first daughter I’ve had from her, which makes offering her in this sale a difficult but exciting decision. She’s packed with hair, beautifully pigmented, and has the kind of maternal quality and power to raise her first calf just like her dam. A tremendous opportunity from a proven cow family.

Her pedigree runs deep in proven maternal power, her granddam being none other than the dam of JEMS 5M! That consistency shows through here in every way. Sired by JEMS Pretty Boy 04K, the same sire responsible for some of my most exciting young cattle! She represents the kind of repeatable quality that defines this cow family. A heifer bred to make an impact for years to come.

Introducing our little jem, Jackie 77N. We’ve been excited about her since she was born. Jackie is a Fullblood, 100% Fleckvieh polled heifer. She is deep bodied, feminine, structurally sound, carrying her length of spine gracefully. She possesses the natural thickness and maternal strength the breed is known for. Jackie is double goggled, liver red with an impressive haircoat. Her mamma is heavily pigmented, has a strong udder and has raised a lot of top sellers. Her papa is LFS Pol Chaos 176K, which we purchased from Langer Simmentals. This is his first calf crop and we are impressed about the power of growth he has injected into his offspring, both male and female. He has proven his calving ease as all his calves were born unassisted. Jackie is halter broke with a docile temperament. She will have many friends on sale day with her “easy of the eyes” features. We think she has the potential to produce above average offspring and take an active part in the future in these exciting times within the cattle industry.

We are pleased to welcome both returning and new consignors to the Fleckvieh Equation Female Sale. This year, we’re offering three females that we believe exemplify soundness, quality, and readiness to go to work in your program.
Two of the females on offer are sired by our leading herd sire, BLL Master Plan 835F. Unfortunately, he sustained an injury earlier this year and was sent to town this spring. While we are unsure how many females he bred before the incident, opportunities to acquire his daughters will be increasingly limited moving forward. One of the females on offer is from our previous sire, HPR New Wave 563H. This will be the very last female sold on the farm as he has moved on to greener pastures.
We invite you to contact us or stop by to view the heifers prior to sale day. If you have any questions or would like an unbiased opinion on our offering, please don’t hesitate to reach out to the Transcon Team.
We would like to extend our sincere thanks to Glenn and the entire Transcon Team for their professionalism and attention to detail in managing the sale and catalog production. A heartfelt thank you as well to all those who purchased our females in 2024 — your support is truly appreciated.
All heifers have been AI’d to various proven heifer bulls and were also exposed to our home raised Elevation son, Richlan Elevation 18K (1384968).
