EO Cape Town Renewal Details for 2025/26

small but welcome shift aimed at easing the impact of a weaker exchange rate. We’re grateful for their continued efforts to keep EO accessible and impactful for our region.

If I’ve learnt anything in my six years with EO, it’s to view the renewal fee as one complete package, not as a split between EO Cape Town and EO Global. The value is deeply interconnected. So many of the tools, learning experiences, and platforms that enrich our local EO journey are developed and continually refined by EO Global, but far more importantly, the network and friendships I have built outside of Cape Town have truly 10X my value.

When you lean in, say yes, and engage fully, the return on that investment is profound locally and globally.

Our renewal rate in Cape Town is proudly at 92%, a clear sign that most of our members continue to find real value in the EO experience. And for those who have left and later returned, many say they missed the energy, the learning, and most of all, the connections.

We are committed to delivering world-class experiences, meaningful connections, and powerful learning opportunities. Everything we do is member-led, and our budget is fully transparent and accessible to you. Together, we set the priorities that matter most to our community.

To make the renewals process easier this year:

• We have set up a credit card payment option. Thank you to EO member Rahul Jain and his team from Peach Payments.

• We will continue to offer the quarterly payment plan to qualifying members - payment of R84 000 ex VAT in 4 equal tranches due June, September, December and March. Please email Jo Grace, manager@eocapetown.com, by 19 May to find out more and apply.

Renewal Reminders

Please be aware of the following regarding this year's renewals process:

Revenue qualification is waived for tenured members in good standing.

Members who have been members for less than 10 consecutive years must still continuously meet EO membership criteria. Revenue verification documents will be sent out.

If you do not meet membership criteria, you can check a box in lieu of your signature and will be granted a grace period of 12 months and may still renew your membership.

Members who have been granted a grace period are eligible to participate in all EO programs and benefits and apply to hold leadership positions at both the chapter and global levels.

Members who have been in good standing beyond two (2) calendar years and have sold their business are allowed to retain EO membership with one-time declaration of business sale and chapter verification of business sale. Please email Jo Grace for the forms.
