Innovation through Business, Engineering and Design – specialisation Engineering, Master Programme
120 credits (2 years) A programme with an interdisciplinary perspective – combining Business Administration, Engineering and Design The purpose is to enable students to learn from each other’s skills and to increase the students’ ability to co-create diverse innovative solutions to complex development projects. Achieved skills in innovative thinking, project management, process and product development as well as business and systems development will make you an important player in the creation of sustainable society. City: Växjö Semester: Autumn Entry requirements: General entry requirements for secondcycle studies and specific entry requirements: • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or the equivalent • English 6 or the equivalent. Degree: The programme leads to a Master’s Degree in Engineering in accordance with the main field of study to which the student has been accepted. Mechanical Engineering, Master Programme
60 credits (1 year) Qualified calculation engineers and designers are attractive in industry. The basis in computational mechanics is provided through courses in multivariate calculus, vector calculus, analysis of structures and structural dynamics. Within the course in product development from a life cycle perspective, you study powerful development tools with specific applications to complex products, functions and systems. City: Växjö Semester: Autumn Entry requirements: General entry requirements for secondcycle studies and specific entry requirements: • Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering or the equivalent. This must include a minimum of 7.5 credits in Structural Mechanics or Mechanics of Materials as well as mathematics corresponding to the courses Calculus 1 (7.5 credits) and Vector geometry/Linear algebra (7.5 credits) or the equivalent. • English 6 or the equivalent. Structural Engineering, Master Programme
60 credits (1 year) This programme focuses on structural engineering and design, and prepares for work within a growing wood building branch or elsewhere in the building industry. In addition to a thorough theoretical basis, applied projects concerning the development of new products and technology are included. The education benefits greatly by the series of interesting wood building projects that are going on in Växjö.
