TheLindaleIndependentSchoolDistrictispleasedtoannouncethehiringofMrs.Macie ThompsonasthenewprincipalofLindaleJuniorHigh.Thompsoniscurrentlyservingasthe superintendentofAlba-GoldenISD.Previously,Thompsonhasservedasanassociate curriculumdirectorforLindaleISDandasanassistantprincipalforLindaleHighSchool.She startedhercareerasahighschoolgovernmentandeconomicsteacherbeforetransitioninginto anassistantprincipalforWeatherfordISDpriortoLindale.
“IloveLindaleISDandIfeelincrediblyblessedtobeaLindaleEagleagain,”said Thompson.“FormerLindaleJuniorHighPrincipals,JeremyChilekandTracieRandaremy friendsandcolleagues.Iamveryhonoredtohavethebatonpassedtometoleadacampusof suchhighacademicachievementandexcellenceinallareas.ThestaffofLJHhasmadethisone ofthehighestperformingcampusesinTexasandIamexcitedtoworkalongsidethemto continuethattraditionofexcellence.”

andaMaster’sinEducationalLeadershipfromStephenF AustinStateUniversity

Shehasagreatpassionforstudentsandlovestosupportteachers.LJHhasagreatreputationof wonderfulprincipalsandMrs.Thompsonwillcertainlycontinuethattradition.”
