Make, Do &

Upcycle!

With Easter fast approaching, here’s a great, inexpensive crafting project that makes a colourful (and tasty!) Easter centre piece.

A colourful Easter sweet tree...

Chocolate bunnies... Which part do you eat first? We asked, you replied... 60% Ears 20% Tail 10% Feet 10% Other (including 'in

one mouthful' & 'bum!')

Step 6:

Step 3:

When the whole ball is covered, add some sweets on top of the tissue paper in the pot for decoration and enjoy the sweet centre piece!

Put this in your pot and surround with stones for support. Cover the stones with tissue paper.

Step 4:

Turn the mini muffin cases inside out so that the colourful side is showing. Pierce through the middle of them with a cocktail stick and place the sweet on top.

Step 1:

You will need a foam ball, mini muffin cases, 10 skewers, cocktail sticks, tissue paper, ribbon, a pot, some stones & sweets. We used mini eggs & fruit jellies, but American hard gums would be a good alternative as some of the jellies slipped off the cocktail sticks.

Step 2:

Wind the ribbon around the 10 skewers and stick them into the bottom of the foam ball. lifeinmagazines.co.uk

Step 5:

Add the sweets in cases to the foam ball until the whole ball is covered. April 2019 Life in... Orpington 33
