Business Spotlight Name: Harriet Buckingham Business: Harriet Buckingham Photography The background: Harriet’s career as a
photographer started after taking beautiful pics of her own children that were spotted by friends who then started to ask her to photograph their children too. Suddenly, a whole new career unfolded. Harriet’s photography now covers many genres from weddings, newborns, pets and commercial photography, but family photography is where her passion lies. Latest achievement: Harriet has been awarded Licentiateship of the Master Photographer Association (LMPA) – one of the hardest qualifications to achieve within the photographic profession. The judges’ comments given to Harriet, included words like sheer quality, impact, stunning, outstanding and unique, which explained the strength of the whole panel. Harriet says: “Working in and around Orpington there are plenty of beautiful locations to shoot at any time of the year. We are so fortunate and have some of the most beautiful Bluebell woods in the world – it’s a bold statement, but it’s true! Some

of my top locations for Bluebell photography are Andrew’s Wood and Pilots Wood, both on the outskirts of Orpington. Families, toddlers, young at heart grandparents, there is no one that does not look beautiful against this backdrop of stunning natural beauty.”
