A SYMBOL TO RAISE A GHOST
IN ORDER TO RAISE A GHOST FROM A CEMETERY YOU
must start by procuring your own blood from the big toe of your right foot and the thumb of your left hand. Then cut this symbol into a piece of oak and rub the symbol with the blood. Now find the resting place of the person you wish to raise from the dead and walk in six circles around the nearest church, three clockwise circles and three counterclockwise. When walking around the church it is of utmost importance to watch the grave closely as three generous loads of dirt will by thrown into the air. At the third load of dirt you have to be ready, because that‘s when the ghost will stick his ugly head out of the grave. As soon as the head appears you should grab the corpse by the neck and almost strangle it until it starts wailing and begging for mercy. Now you can help it out of the grave and make sure that it‘s comfortable and then give it your specific orders. Such a servant might come in handy if you wish to give someone a hard time. Simply tell it to haunt and scare the living daylights out of the person who deserves it most. However, if you wish to send the poor ghost on a long journey on foot another sorcerer and a bit more complicated equipment will be needed to perform the spell. 3

THE SYMBOL OF THE MAGICAL RIDER
THE NECESSARY INGREDIENTS FOR THIS SPELL ARE:
One man, one horse and one recently buried man’s corpse. If the spell is a success one can easily ride over land and ocean and in fact travel anyplace at all without costly airfares, InterRail-passes or rental cars. Start by gathering the blood from the horse’s right hoof and the man’s left big toe. Mix the blood (perhaps in a blender) and make sure to use 2/3 from the horse and 1/3 from the man. When the blood cocktail is ready you need to find a horse’s skull without the slightest leftovers of skin. Then dip a rooster’s feather into the blood and write this magic symbol on the skull. Now your ride is ready and the only thing missing is a bridle, which is made out of the man’s corpse. Start by finding a recent grave and simply dig up the corpse. Cut out the spinal column and use it as a rein. Then scalp the corpse (Indian style) and use the scalp as a leather-bridle. Use the hyoid bone for a snaffle and the hipbone for a shaft. Read the spell out loud when the bridle is ready. Now, when you put the bridle on the horse’s head it will jump into the air, with you riding it, and you can fly like the lightning wherever you desire. But be advised, this spell is very loud and a bothersome rumble will follow.

your house. Draw blood from your right pinkie, carve this symbol unto a piece of oak and rub the blood into the carving. If the piece of oak with the bloody carved symbol is hanging above your door the evil spirit will have accept the fact that he cannot enter.
