The Sound of Music

Weekend immunization clinics in July

help kids get ready to go back to school The Florida Department of Health in Lee County (DOH-Lee) is reminding parents of kindergartners, 7th graders, out-of-state, transfer and college students to make sure their childrenâ&#x20AC;&#x2122;s immunizations are up to date before the start of the new school year. The department is accepting appointments for back to school immunizations and will be hosting weekend clinics in July, only for back to school immunizations, at two locations. The weekend clinics will be held Saturday, July 11 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at 3920 Michigan Ave. in Fort Myers and on Saturday, July 18 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at 83 Pondella Road in North Fort Myers. All students are required to receive the Tdap booster before entering 7th grade. Children may receive the Tdap booster as early as age 11. Vaccines are free of charge for children through age 18. Appointments are also available Monday to Friday from 9 a.m.

Each Legoland is bursting with interactive family rides, live shows, building workshops, and amazing attractions, including awe-inspiring Miniland areas reflecting iconic buildings and attractions from the resort location. Legoland Florida reopened June 1.

Universal Parks & Resorts began a phased reopening of Universal Orlando Resort beginning June 5. The reopening will be carefully managed and include a wide range of new and enhanced best-practice health, safety and hygiene procedures based on guidelines from the CDC and health officials. The reopening includes Universal Studios Florida, Universalâ&#x20AC;&#x2122;s Islands of Adventure and Universalâ&#x20AC;&#x2122;s Volcano Bay.
