YOUR PASSPORT TO ONE LCS
As we evolve into one unified LCS, this guide highlights the key updates every employee needs to know. From brand changes to email updates and new tools, this booklet is your go-to resource for navigating what’s new and what’s next.
• LCS will no longer be referred to as a “Family of Companies.” Instead, we’ll use language like ‘suite of business solutions’ or ‘service offerings’.
• LCS is the only business solution logo used by the organization.
• Life Care Services is now LCS Community Operations, and there will be no logo.
• Care Purchasing Services (CPS) is now LCS Group Purchasing, and there will be no logo.
• LCS Development will remain the name, but we will no longer use the red color palette and block-style logo.
• LCS Real Estate will remain the name, but we will no longer use the green and blue color palette and triangle-style logo.
• LCS Foundation and Hexagon are not changing.
We’ve updated the Brand and Marketing Hub Connect page with useful resources to help you transition to one LCS. Today, please visit the Brand and Marketing Hub located on the homepage of Connect for things like:
• Email signatures
• Teams backgrounds
• LinkedIn backgrounds
• Word and PowerPoint templates
• Educational resources for all our business solutions – development, community operations, group purchasing, and real estate
Timing: Late September / early October
Action items:
• Be prepared to use your new email address for all communications starting on the effective date.
• Your login credentials for laptops and Okta will also reflect this change. Please ensure you update any saved login information accordingly.
• Make a list of any personal applications outside of LCS systems that you use your current LCS email address for access.
Examples:
• Travel apps like Delta, Hilton, National, etc.
• Subscriptions like The Wall Street Journal, Senior Housing News, etc.
• Personal uses like doctors’ offices, CPAs, etc.
• Pay close attention to Connect updates and emails from our IT partners with additional details over the next few weeks.
LCS has invested in an enterprise version of Canva. At this time, there are roughly 50 users with access who have been trained. If you’d like to obtain access and training, please first make sure your manager approves then reach out to Leah Ripperger, Amanda Schmitt, or Paul Salais.
Please note: At this time, we only have 100 accounts available. Access will be granted on a first-come, first-serve basis and you will be expected to attend regular meetings to discuss use and enhancements.
Seats are limited. If you have a case for receiving access, confirm with your manager, then reach out to the Corporate Marketing team to learn more. If you obtain access and training, the following commitments will need to be made:
• Obtain manager approval – please share via email the approval received from your manager.
• Attend training – to be scheduled following approval and access.
• Attend regular meetings – as we continue to assess the usefulness of this tool and build out templates, it will be critical for those with access to provide feedback.
This brand evolution to one LCS does not change our legal entities and, therefore, does not change who you are employed by.
Who am I employed by?
Employment entities are not changing.
Where will my paycheck come from?
Your paycheck, along other important documents, will remain the same.
LCS! You can help provide clarity by stating something like the following: “My name is [insert name] and I support [LCS, LCS Development, LCS Community Operations, LCS Group Purchasing, LCS Real Estate].”
Be on the lookout for email change communication via Connect.
