At LCS, we are deeply committed to fostering a culture of inclusion and belonging.
In celebration of Pride, LCS was proud to sponsor a booth at Des Moines PrideFest, where we invited attendees to write heartfelt notes of love, gratitude, and encouragement to LGBTQ+ seniors—trailblazers whose courage and advocacy have made today’s progress possible.
The response from the community was extraordinary. We received over 200 touching messages, each one a testament to the enduring impact of our LGBTQ+ seniors.
This booklet features a selection of these powerful notes. With gratitude and pride, we celebrate our seniors who paved the way—and those continuing the journey today. Happy Pride!
