"I'm so glad I live in a world where there are Octobers."
Thank you to the many members who have inquired about prospective member sponsorship. President Ryan’s letter of September 11 has been well received
Interested in new sponsoring a prospective Legacy Junior, Non-Legacy Junior or Regular member? Here is a summary of important information about the membership application process:
Obtain the membership application packet from Keri Reitman, the Club’s Director of Communications and Member Relations. Applications are only provided as hard-copy and are given to the Primary Sponsor only An application requires three sponsors, each of whom must be identified and shared with the Club at the onset
Once the application is fully complete, the Primary Sponsor is to submit the hardcopy application to Keri’s attention at the Club. This will queue the applicant for an in-person interview with members of the Club’s Admissions Committee Meetings are taking place monthly starting this month through summer 2025
The new member applicant should be familiar with the Club. It is recommended that they be invited to Club events by their sponsors to get familiar with the facilities and to get to know the membership
A member can only be a sponsor for a new member applicant if the member is in good standing and has been a member for three years (Primary Sponsor) and five years (secondary and tertiary sponsors) A member can only sponsor one new member applicant in a calendar year.
Applying this information will make for a smooth application process for sponsors for and applicants. Note that membership acceptance is not guaranteed If you have any membership-related questions, please reach out to Keri Reitman.
