Welcome to 2024, Our 99th Year!

Here’s to a year filled with vibrant health, happy moments and good fortune for all our members, staff and families!

Larchmont Shore Club is a place where traditions are held dear, where lifetime memories are created and treasured, and where fun is always in season. As we hold our memories and traditions close, we start this new year - the Club’s 99th year - excited to embrace new facilities, new technology and new members!

The state-of-the-art Clubhouse Bowling Alley facility will bring new excitement to the Club when it reopens later this Spring. Our four bowling lanes were gutted this winter and completely rebuilt. A digital scoring system will add to the fun. The Club will be “rolling out” opportunities for use of the Bowling Alleys for birthday parties and private events, in the Fall We’re excited to “get rolling!”

The quote, “The technology you use impresses no one. The experience you create with it is everything.” resonates at LSC. Technology continues to drive several goals of the Club to enhance the member experience. Future issues of Sound Waves will include more information on this important subject and the ways in which the Club plans to use new technology on-site

At 99 years, Larchmont Shore Club remains the place where “what’s new ” and “what’s tradition” come together in our collective home. Welcome back, and welcome home.

Tennis

The 2024 LSC Tennis schedule of clinics, lessons and tournaments is available to view on the Club app/website

Registration for the “Spring1” session of clinics/lessons for PeeWees (ages 4-6 years), Juniors (ages 7-17) and Adults, opened on 10 February. Registration continues and is accessed via the club app/website. Spring1 is a 4-week session starting 29 April. Registration continues through 10 April.

Junior Sailing

The Club is pleased to announce the return of instructor Cecilia Roe, and her new role of Sailing Director. Junior Sailing Program registration for 2023 sailors is underway; registration for new sailors will open on Thursday 07 March 2024. All information regarding registration can be found on the Club app/website. Registration is online only.

Camp High Tide

Junior Tennis

Our Tennis Professional Staff, led by Rogerio Ribeiro, includes returning Pros Luana and Joao, and new this year, Pau Fanlo, from the University of Memphis. 2024 Junior Tennis program will include clinics, fun activities, lessons, scrambles and tournament play.

Another fun summer awaits our youngest members at Camp High Tide. The Club is pleased to announced the return of Jordan Valentzas and Scott Miele, as Co-Directors for the 2nd consecutive year. Camp High Tide (CHT) is a 6-week program which begins on Monday 01 July. Registration for all campers begins on Thursday 07 March. All information regarding registration can be found on the Club app/website. Registration is online only.

Swim and Dive Team

Team LSC hits the pool in June, lead once again by Head Coach Carter McFarland. Registration for the Swim and Dive Team (will be available as an add-on at the time of registration for Junior Sailing and/or Camp High Tide, as well as a stand-alone registration. All information regarding registration can be found on the Club app/website. Registration is online only.

A La Carte

The Opening Season menus created by Executive Chef John Byrne include club classics as well as modern menu items including the addition of indicating items that are gluten-free, Vegan and Vegetarian. Menus, including daily dinner specials, are visible on the Club app/website In March, a la carte dining is Thursday - Sunday Wednesday dining begins on 17 April

Bar Bites and Buffets

Bar Bites, a limited menu of light bites served Thursday - Sunday in the evening, will begin to be available during March Madness at the Bar

Sunday 31 March 2024 is the date for the Club’s Easter Celebration - a beloved Larchmont Shore Club tradition

The Easter Egg Hunt begins at 11:15 am followed by seatings for the buffet, which begins at 11:30.

Hoops! Here it is! 2024 Men’s NCAA basketball tournament play begins

Sunday 17 March and continues through Monday 08 April The Club will host watch parties on 23, 24, 28 and 30 March, and 06 April, based on teams remaining in the tournament Watch for updates via “weekend waves ” (friday email) and app/website announcements
