SAIL MAIL

WHAT AN AMAZING WEEK!

We had a pretty busy 4th week, which was kicked off with Larchmont Junior Race Week. We sent 3 fevas and 1 laser to the regatta and the sailors had an awesome time! Looking forward to seeing everyone on Monday and having another fun filled week with Color Wars and Christmas. As always, if you have any questions or concerns about the upcoming weeks, please reach out to us via email.

THE WEEK AHEAD

On Tuesday, July 25th, we have our very exciting Color Wars day! This event is from 9am to 3pm for all sailors, and lunch will be provided. In addition, we will have Christmas on Friday, July 28th, so please have your sailor dress in festive attire!

OPTIS

This week our Opti Ones practiced some upwind sailing and did an awesome job identifying their points of sail! They got to do some swimming during the warmer days in the beginning of the week. This week our Opti Twos were able to explore some different parts of the Sound. They towed to Echo Bay Yacht Club, Orienta Beach Club, Larchmont Yacht Club, and Execution Rock, and had a great time sightseeing from on the water!

Our morning fevas got out to do some long distance sailing and swimming. They also got to enjoy a towline to Execution Rock earlier in the week. Our afternoon fevas participated in Larchmont Junior Race Week/Feva North Americans and did an awesome job. While there was only 1 race due to storms and lack of wind, they had great results in the feva fleet which consisted of 58 boats. Great job to Chase and Kara who placed 25th, Mason and Andrew who placed 32nd, and Nate and Aidan who placed 39th!
