I have this mindset or sort of belief and I’ve had it ever since I was young, that life is adventure. Whether life gets tough or great, you have to keep moving, you have to keep doing things. So what keeps me going, even if it gets tough, pandemic, whatever, I always look at the good side to things. And so, that what keeps me going. It’s life is a huge adventure. And then by the end, and I always think ahead and ask myself, what will I regret if I don’t do this or don’t do that. So it keeps me going, if I sort of try to put myself in that shoes, when I’m 80, will I regret not having to do this example? And it tells me, yeah, and then it propels me to do what I have to do it. It’s really difficult for me to say now, when I started, we had few established influencers worldwide. I was like the second batch. Everyone now is the new TikTokers. I was in the middle, I was quite lucky. But I think for success in social you have to have a niche, you have to have good content. You have to know the tricks and trends, like working with PR. I think bottom line, just having the right mindset, that there is something for everyone. Also you have to check why you’re doing what you’re doing. If you’re in it for money right away, you’ll get frustrated. So you have to have the right mindset. I am in it because I’m passionate about it, both creating content & sharing ideas, then money will follow. It’s crucial that you understand, why you’re in the space and why you’re doing what you’re doing. Mindset is everything. The best followers are ones that have been with us for many years regardless of celebrity status.

What I did when I started, I gathered all the influencers out there. You have Aimee Song, you have, I even forgot their name, but I was more focused on the way they take their photos. it’s pretty and what they talk about to the brands that they talk about.

Then when I managed to get that, it changes as well. Now, who are the top influencers, they’re very good with strategy & the things that they talk about. Now I love Bryanboy. He’s so funny, he’s also from Philippines. He’s very funny, he’s very smart. Well, he talks about a lot luxury brands. I’m obsessed with him right now, I love him. He’s very entertaining and he’s very relatable to me because I’m not gen Z, I’m a millennial and he’s a millennial. There’s this conversation that you have to be gen Z to be on TikTok, and then I saw him grow on TikTok.
