Q. How did you get the chance to work with Apollo & Detomaso?
JW. I was contacted by the founder, Norman, to re-ignite the Apollo brand, formerly known as Gumpert, I was tasked to create a statement brand in a very competitive space amongst established OEMs such as Ferrari, McLaren. It was a complete success and the Apollo IE quickly gathered a following in the automotive world. Following on after the success of the IE, I was tasked to do the same again with De Tomaso, but in a design direction that was completely opposite to the Apollo.
Q. What is the DeTomaso Made out of? What materials did you source?
JW. The P72 is a hyper car, naturally Its made of a variety of high performance materials such as carbon fibre, aluminium, titanium, copper and gold coatings etc, for De Tomaso I wanted to create a car that was more in-line with automotive art that tells the story of car design from the 60s in the modern car world
Q. How much does Crypto play into the future of Automotive?
JW. I am very into crypto, but for brands to really be successful in this, they have to really understand what their customers want first and foremost in the world of crypto. I believe crypto, NFTs and how many metaverses are coming will forever change the way we view and value in this world, and it’s all coming like an avalanche, so be prepared!.
