An Eco-Friendly, Synthetic Fibre Revolution!
BioLoft has been specifically designed to biodegrade in just 3-5 years! The cushion is paired with 100% cotton cases to make this an all-round, eco-friendly product for the environmentally conscious consumers.
The fibres are made by adding organic compounds that can break down into simpler substances like water vapour, carbon dioxide, and biomass without leaving toxic residues. This process doesn’t affect the fibres performance, but it allows microbes like bacteria and fungi to break it down when it’s discarded. It will only decompose in damp, anaerobic conditions, like in a landfill, so it won’t break down while it’s being stored or processed.

It is then brought over the Pennines for us to use to make our pads (and more) here in Lancashire.
