BioLoft has been specifically designed to biodegrade in just 3-5 years! The pillows are paired with 100% cotton cases to make this an all-round, eco-friendly product for the environmentally conscious consumers.
The fibres are made by adding organic compounds that can break down into simpler substances like water vapour, carbon dioxide, and biomass without leaving toxic residues. This process doesn’t affect the fibre’s performance, but it allows microbes like bacteria and fungi to break it down when it’s discarded. It will only decompose in damp, anaerobic conditions, like in a landfill, so it won’t degrade during storage or use.
