Annual Meeting Report of the Lake Carroll Association Membership Proxy Card and Board of Directors Results

Photos by Linda Hoffman, LC Photo Club The Annual Meeting of the Lake Carroll Membership took place on Sunday, December 7, 2014 in the lower level of the Clubhouse. Approximately 90 members were in attendance, with seven members voting from the floor. All others in attendance turned in their proxy card either prior to, or upon arrival, to the meeting.

PROXY CARD AND VOTING IN PERSON FROM THE FLOOR The LC Membership voted to pass ALL of the items presented on the Proxy Card. The unapproved meeting 1. APPROVE 2014 ANNUAL BUDGET with dues of $1,520 Vote Results: Yes: 480 No: 353 Abstain: 10 2. APPROVE an additional $16 dues increase making the annual dues $1,536, additional revenue from this increase to be dedicated entirely to principal reduction of the POOL LOAN. Donna Beyer Vote Results: Yes: 444 No: 382 Abstain: 16 Communications Director There were a total of 18 “Bad” proxies that could not be included in the count. GREENWAY DOCK APPROVALS A reminder: For those who had approved greenway docks in 2014, you must reapply and receive approval for your greenway dock installation EVERY YEAR. A&E VARIANCE HEARING – 23-47 Hasken’s Construction, LLC, contractor for Daniel and Cynthia Kuesis, has formally requested an A&E Variance Hearing for the property located at 23-47 Barrington Court. The request is to build a brick gazebo that is 816 square feet, which is greater than the 400 square feet now allowed. The date of the hearing is set for January 16, 2015 at 9:00 AM, in the Admin Conference Center. All interested members may attend.
