Children’s ID Photos Must Be Updated For 2015

has been put on file. If your dependent children’s ID photos are not new or updated in 2014 or 2015, you MUST submit new photos. Updated photos must be received no later than March 30, 2015 to ensure processing prior to the deactivation date. Photos received after March 30, 2015, will be processed as time allows. We need a clear head & shoulders picture with a plain background. No hats, sunglasses, or funny poses/facial expressions. Photos from other ID’s with holograms are not accepted. The preferred method to receive photos is to email your photos to photoid@ golakecarroll.com. Be sure to identify your section/lot, child’s name, and date of birth for each photo submitted. If you don’t have the option to email, the office staff is available to take your photo Monday through Saturday between the hours of 9 AM & 3PM. Depending on the customer load at the time you are in the office, your new ID cards may be mailed at a later date.

We have been announcing this update requirement since September 2014. To date, a low number of Members have updated their children’s photos. The time is now here… Primary LCA Member’s dependent children 5-24 years of age are required to have new photos for their 2015 LCA ID cards. Our current program has been in effect since 2007 – that’s 8 years; many of those kids look nothing like their photo on file. PLEASE NOTE: Current cards for dependent children 5-24 years of age will be deactivated on May 1, 2015 unless a new photo

ATTENTION: Primary Members’ Cards to be Reprinted in 2015

In addition to updating dependent children’s photos and ID cards, ALL primary Members’ cards will be reprinted in 2015 using the photo that is already on file with a new LCA background. We are not requiring new photos; however, if you wish an updated photo be printed on your new ID card, it must be received no later than March 30, 2015. All previously issued primary member ID cards will be deactivated on or about May 1, 2015. If you have any questions, please contact the Admin Office – 815493-2552.

INFRASTRUCTURE COMMITTEE At the January 23, 2015 Board Meeting, it was decided to reactive the Infrastructure Committee. Their mission as outlined in our ByLaws is: The Infrastructure Committee shall plan for the preservation, maintenance and enhancement of all buildings, roads, parks and common areas and any other amenities not herein defined. The maintenance manager shall be an integral part of this Committee. If you are interested in becoming a member of this committee, please submit a Committee Application that can be found on our website when you click on “Committees” in the top menu bar, or pick up a hard copy at the Admin Office. You can email your application to editor@golakecarroll.com or drop off at the office Attention Communications Director.

PLUMTREE SKI AREA Winterfest kicked off our opening weekend on January 17th! It was a fun winter event with 427 skiers / snowboarders, and 353 tubers enjoyed the winter amenities. The snowman competition, winter triathlon, bikini races, and cardboard box sled races were some of the favorite events. Everyone enjoyed the music entertainment that evening from the Take 2 band. Thank-you to everyone who participated and came out for the event! It was fun! Mark your calendars for February 14th weekend, the next big winter event! Winter Carnival…. Fun for kids during the day with carnival games from 1:00pm-4:00pm and fun for everyone at night with live entertainment from the band Just for Kicks. Come out with friends and family, it will be a great time!
